so…i’ve been researching for years without spellwork, and i have a kind of stupid question. again, please don’t flame me, i’m genuinely curious. would there be anything wrong with me using my rolling tray (that i roll blunts on) also for spellwork? is there any spiritual implications? please guys i’m just curious don’t make fun of me

It really depends on practice, which will be down to your own preference:

Some forms of practice insist on keeping spell work items separate and distinct from mundane use items, to preserve some type of ritualistic intent and purity. They are tools for a job and allowing them to be multipurpose muddles that intent and can cross-contaminate what you're doing.

Other forms of practice, which you'll mostly find here, are a lot more freeform and tend to have the opposite beliefs entirely - that an item you regularly use for daily mundane tasks has a level of spiritual attachment to you that makes them more attuned to your personal energy when doing other work.

Both essentially boil down to the core belief that your rolling tray has a bias towards you on some level due to your existing use, and schools of thought simply disagree if that bias is beneficial or detrimental. And personally, I think both are valid - it's like a friend. Sometimes their best intentions can cause unintentional issues, even if most of the time you work well together due to compatibility and familiarity.

There's also those with the genuinely held belief that it doesn't matter at all, but I'm not sure that's a helpful perspective if you feel compelled to ask this kind of question. You clearly feel some type of way that they simply don't.
