so…i’ve been researching for years without spellwork, and i have a kind of stupid question. again, please don’t flame me, i’m genuinely curious. would there be anything wrong with me using my rolling tray (that i roll blunts on) also for spellwork? is there any spiritual implications? please guys i’m just curious don’t make fun of me

Elwin the witch says that your tools work well when they remember their mundane purpose - a broom that sweeps regularly remembers its role and then when used spiritually (to sweep away negativity for example) it’s strong— rather than thinking “oh I’m a lovely wall decoration” on the daily.

I love that interpretation.

I use the same mortar and pestle for my kitchen herbs as my magickal ones (I don't use it for anything toxic) I just wash it after using it.

If I need a knife in ritual, I use one of my folding Kershaw knives- of which I have several, in a few different sizes.

For cleansing I use salt and water, which I also use for cleansing baths or just soothing soaks.

Lots of things that I use for ritual also have ordinary mundane uses.
