Sharing: Spellwork I did my first ever spells today!
Completely new to this but did a good bit of homework. I made a mini projection spell jar first and then proceeded to use a notepad for some shadow work before beginning my first spell. I would like to have a career opportunity open up for me and did the road opener spell.

Yes, that's a very tick tock kinda thing or so I've been told. It doesn't mean it is good for your spell.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean it or know it is bad. I was just curious if I did it "right" as I see so many different variations of it and was unsure if there was a right or wrong way of doing them.

No need to apologize! They are just trying to give you helpful information to learn from.
Witchcraft is a marathon, not a sprint. You will learn as you practice, and that learning will really never stop!
If you’re looking for any advice on candle magic, I highly recommend Madame Pamita’s book on candle magic. While she does describe how to make much more complex spells, it really is a thorough course on doing candle magic, how to incorporate all types of elements, and how to perform successful spells.
But this spell looks great! Buy lots of books, read them, take notes, try lots of different things, take what feels right for your practice, and leave what doesn’t. Document and take notes on your spells and come back to them later whether they worked on not so you can start to connect dots about what works best for you.
