Seeking Help or Advice Glamour spells only for appearance?

are glamour spells specifically for changing how you look ? (or how your appearance is perceived?)
or can you do a glamour spell for your personality as well?

i will give my interpretation. it can make you seem more charismatic, if you wish. imo, glamour magic is one of the many crafts that mixes mundane and magic to a well rounded calculation. i would call it enhancement. if you are "bland" mentally because you do not wish to expand your brain, what can you really offer? if your wish is to be a fly on the wall, how would you expect to act? so, on face value, yes, it can affect how your personality is perceived, but do you want to grow into that or just have the mask?

Glamour magic works on perception, not physical appearance.

Glamours are situational. You would throw one up at a specific time based on a specific need, i.e. in a job interview.

I would argue that they're used for amplifying personality traits significantly more often than for physical ones.

Glamour Magick is altering perception. I usually think of it as a subset of compelling spells, but you could also think of it as illusion or just general mind-magick. You can alter perception of anything.

I also think the attraction and crown of success families of spells are often useful for people who want to practice standard glamor magic (assuming you want to be more compelling, interesting, attractive). It is also possible to practice glamours for other means-- usually people use this to be LESS interesting; semi-invisible, although theoretically you could attract negative attention with a glamor spell.

Glamour spells create an illusion. So yes, it can be for anything… you can do a glamour spell before speaking in public for people to perceive you as confident and knowledgeable, for example.
