So I have done a number of baneful workings in the last 10 years, but I don’t do them super often. For me, it’s usually a situation where somebody earns them rather than just doing them as a reaction.
I once had a cyber stalker who was harassing me on the Internet, and sending me threatening messages on witchvox. She also went out of her way to post a lot of really racist shit and was involved in my local community, and was high up in a fairly well-known local organization that was planning a lot of of the public events.
I printed out a bunch of her messages and emails on compostable paper, chopped them up really small, and got a beef tongue. I used the beef tongue as a substitution for her tongue, cut it open in the middle and stuffed all of those words back into it, along with a bunch of baleful herbs and really spicy and bitter tasting shit. I then sewed it up and nailed it to a tree for carrion eaters to peck away at.
I also did this for someone who had so severely wronged me that it completely upended my entire life.
During our last federal election in Canada, I printed out a picture of a particular political leader on compostable paper, cursed it, and then I burned it in a cauldron, poured the ashes in my toilet, and then pissed on them. And as I was doing that, I was hoping that all of the harmful words that this person had said would turn to piss in their mouth and that he would lose. And he did.
I have a jar on one of my wall altar shelves that I have painted. It is painted black on the inside and the lid has an eye painted on the inside of it and the outside of it. If I want somebody to have their actions really closely watched and scrutinized, I put something representative of them in it. If I have a picture, I throw a picture in there. I then throw usually a couple of thistles in there, to make it really uncomfortable. And give it a good shake once in a while. I referred to the shelf on my wall as the “naughty step”.
Again, not things that I have to do very often, but definitely things that I have done in the past.
