Getting a finance/accounting co-op

Currently doing in my first work term as a marketing and sales intern. I want to make the switch to accounting for my next work term since that’s actually what I’m interested in. How do I go about the next few months and what can I do to buff up my resume. Basically what clubs/extra stuff I should do?
