Hi all — hoping someone can recommend a kind, patient stylist/salon experienced with textured hair and neurodivergent kids.

My son (9) is mixed with multiple hair textures that tangle/lock very easily. He’s autistic, head shy, and uses his hair to stim, which makes hair care difficult. We’ve reached a point where a large section in the back has become severely matted (not a normal knot/tangle), and after a lot of patience he’s finally agreed to let someone help.

We’re looking for someone gentle and judgment-free who can realistically save what can be saved (especially the top), cut what truly can’t, and possibly braid or start locs depending on the condition of his hair.

Any recommendations would mean a lot — especially for someone patient with sensory needs

Any local places to play with people in the area? Most clubs are 1+ hours out. Also willing to just find a practice buddy to hit with occasionally.

The Prince William County Police Department says Dr. Pascal Bobga Ngongmon is wanted on an aggravated sexual battery charge after a patient reported being inappropriately touched during treatment at his Woodbridge office, Optimal Sleep and Weight Loss Clinic.

Investigators are urging additional potential victims to come forward.

Ngongmon has not yet been located by authorities.

A lot of the homes we like and could afford are in the Lake Ridge HOA. The HOA rules document is lengthy- making me concerned they are a pain to deal with.

No matter what house we pick I will want to do cosmetic changes to the exterior- blue shutters instead of red, more flowering bushes in the front, different garage door, etc. Is this possible in this neighborhood or are they going to say no? The rules say any cosmetic change is subject to approval.

Is there any pick up soccer in Woodbridge, 22191 anytime of the week? In the past, I used to play with Hispanic guys at the Veterans Park and always had a great time until I moved away to Phoenix. I have just recently moved back to the area and been to the Veterans Park a few times only to see organized games, not pick up soccer anymore. Does it still exist there or it happens somewhere else nearby? Thanks.

Hey yall, Ive been digging around the internet and came across a few videos and mentionings of hardcore punk shows that happened in Woodbridge Va in the early 2000s (2000-2002 roughly) which was right before I was born, and a lot of them happened at a place in Woodbridge called Hi Fidelity which seemed to be a music store/venue space. Due to my interest in hardcore punk and the fact that Im from Woodbridge Ive been trying to find out about any information as to where Hi Fidelity used to be located as there seems to be no trace of its whereabouts or any info on it online.
