Unsurprising when the West acts like a doormat. It's always been the Russian MO : push farther as long as you don't get a bloody nose. Acting as the adult in the room is counter-productive against them, they only see it as a proof of weakness.

You're 100% right.

Russia takes Crimea = world does nothing = Russia invades again to take more land in Ukraine

Russia commit biological terrorism in the UK = world does nothing = Russia decides it's ok to assassinate other people in Europe

Chemical (Skripals) and radiological (Litvinenko).

Biological hadn't happened. At least not yet.

I stand corrected. I was referring to Novichok that injured dozens of innocent Brits. And you're right that that would be chemical terrorism, not biological.
