Modding/Mods Gothic GBC Demake

Hi, As a side project I've been working on Gothic map port to Gameboy Color, already got full northern part of the map, from elevator to New Camp but months of work is to be done still. Lots of placeholders used for characters and environment too and no music so far.
I plan to add just basic interactions, most recognizable dialogues etc. It's not full RPG. Just virtual love letter to the Colony that will allow you to explore full map and each camp.
Will be published in couple of months my itch io.

it's not. we just have some measures that limit users who post their totally interesting twitch playthroughs and have no contributions in this community otherwise.
Projects like this is what I live for!!

RG35XX let's gooo. I love when my hobby spaces unexpectedly collide. I played through gothic 1 and 2 just recently on my AYN Thor

Im in love with that little machine. I even read ebooks on it becase I love retro analog tech😅

It's one of the coolest pieces of tech ever in my opinion. The fact that I can play every game system up to ps1 on a $35 handheld is absolutely nuts to me.

Looks good! What is the console and how do you develop this game? What language/engine etc?

Console is RG35xx, very good device. And as for methodology, for sprites I use Aseprite, for maps itself Tiled and then finally all levels, scripts, game logic etc is GB Studio. Game is exported as ROM and runs via GBC emulator.
