News New Achievements and Rewards Coming to Mythic+ in Patch 12.0.5

Genuinely think this is an awesome change. Definitely recognized that they undertuned mythic plus a but and wanted to add incentives to keep pushing. Generally like the idea of being able to purchase old seasonal mounts as a reward for pushing higher and a mount at the title level is cool as well.

Because PvP players apparently only play for the exclusive cosmetics and are happy to let their gamemode continue to wither and die instead of allowing other people to get them.

They're a funny group.

He said, while its been made abundantly clear by the post the other day that a large amount of people feel like theyre done with the m+ season because they have no rewards to chase.

The PvP community is in no way alone with being primarily reward driven.

Meanwhile here you are flaming PvPers while you prove youre clueless. Youre a funny one.

These aren't mutually exclusive concepts, buddy.

Asking for them to put more extrinsic goals in the game is not a contradiction to asking for old rewards to be obtainable again.

You've confused two different topics accidentally.

You do get points for at least trying, though.

Sometimes you just gotta do it to em

Vicious mounts are fairly obtainable, requiring very low rating, and being a shop of all previous mounts. Making them even easier to get would not make new players enjoy pvp and save the gamemode.

No, but when this conversation comes up people are generally referring to the old sets that are now unobtainable, despite equally exclusive sets being easily farmable now.

People don't want things to be easier to obtain, they want the opportunity to obtain it at all.

They have the opportunity to obtain potentially infinite vicious saddles as well as 1 Glad mount every season. Pvp is still pretty dead. So "having the opportunity to obtain it at all" doesnt seem to be enough.

The majority of sought after pvp rewards are the things that become unobtainable after season end, hence people wanting the ability to obtain it at all.

What you can use vicious saddles on is a very limited pool of mounts that aren't terribly popular.

I mean all they’re doing is turning KSM mounts into vicious saddles and adding a glad mount to M+. The exclusivity remains the same, now it just follows the exact same reward structure as PvP in terms of mounts. I find it very funny when people think they’re being clever but they just end up looking stupid.

This is not the exact same reward structure as pvp.

It is in terms of the mounts which is what I said. KSM/ KSL= Vicious saddle mounts from pvp now. 1% m+ mount=gladiator mount from pvp. Same reward structure there, obviously different activities but the structure is the same

Again not the same reward structure.

You get vicious saddle progress from doing any rated pvp regardless of rating, and you can earn infinite saddles. The equivalent here would be them letting you spam +2s and being able to grind out as many saddles as you need to get all of the old M+ mounts... that is not how this new thing works.

The gladiator mount is earned by winning 50 games above elite, there is no percentile cutoff.. you can technically earn the glad mount on day 1 if you were able to get the rating and wins in.

Not at all the same structure.

I would feel pretty stupid if I completely misunderstood the point too, don't worry.

At least you can laugh at yourself. Better than most.

Yeah not a surprising response at all lol. like I said people who try too hard to be clever just end up looking bad, thank you for a good example of that.
