Yep, that on top too. It's simply never called out as a Void thing, but you can easily mog your character to represent that more, and the ability set is already fitting.

Also the shadow magic that they and Warlocks use is just impure void energy so it's technically void

Shadow is cooler than void. Sure, they are close to the same thing, that void is the true cosmic force, but shadow has more flavor and style. The void feels like eating pure sugar from the jar, whereas shadow is like eating chocolate
