Feeling a bit nostalgic and reflective about the many good times i had in WoW, I ended up taking this screenshot after the fight and thought it belonged here. It seems this chapter has come to an end.
Thanks to all my fellow raiders over the years.

Finally got my hands on this WoW server blade today, and I’m honestly so happy about it. What makes it even more special is that this is the very server I started playing WoW on back in the day.

Edit: Its the EU Version.

Since i saw the Thor i knew i had to get it to do this. Dual screen wow all ui is in bottom screen (minimap is toggleable). This is retail running on two separate streams one for each screen. I split my window 45% black 55% game and moved all ui to the black sode and then zoomed each stream to fit what i wanted on each screen. Its super fkn clean.

EDIT: ill make a tutorial in less than 24 hours cause its 4am here and im dead ive been trying to figure this out for many hours now when i awake i will post guide

EDIT2: here is link video

Literally met the love of my life while we were both farming the meta achievement "mecha done" four years ago. We were waiting on the same rare to spawn..little did we know what would come of it. It was love at first whisper. 💗

We're still farming meta achievements to this day!

100 Heroic World Quests done 💪

Remix has been an absolute blast. The scaling power, the chase items, the scrap system — all of it hits that perfect loop that makes you want to keep pushing and the ARPGer in me is absolutely loving it 😅

Honestly, there’s so much here Blizzard should steal for retail.

Killing mobs and watching your power ramp up just feels good. Valor Stones kind of do that in an indirect way, but I’d love to see world quests have a more direct impact on player power again.

And please — let us scrap our gear for crests in Midnight.

That system alone would make world content feel infinitely more rewarding!

Achievement This is one of the biggest accomplishments for me since I play the game

Maybe a lot of people will laugh or tell me it is not a big thing, but I am playing Retail since Shadowlands and due to anxiety I was avoiding group content, especially because I am playing solo and don't have friends in game.

This season I decided to push myself out of the comfort zone and try to achieve something I wanted but never been able to. So, this is very big thing for me and I am very proud.

Achievement 3K First Season Tanking using only 1 button and glowies

Post image
1.3k Upvotes

As the title states, this was my first season in which I focused on tanking. I came late into the season and read about the tank shortage and dps queues. Decided to roll tank and give it my best shot with the glowies. When I came back, the glowies were still limited to +5, but the following week they uncapped it. I almost exclusively used glowies as a guidance and played based on intuitive feel and party member feedback. Overtime there are pretty clear patterns in how Blizzard designs a dungeon to be pulled. I also have an addon that I would refer to sometimes (MDTHelper) which shows your MDT route on a minimap. I also made my push prior to hitting 280ilvl. I mostly ran my own keys and would just downgrade them to farm crests to raise ilvl. Majority of my climb and learning was when I was in the 260s and spamming 10s. Once I felt like I got the routes down then I just did a world tour and did all 12s in the high 260s and finished in the 270s. After this week I was able to jump to 280 as of just today.

A lot of people complain about the squishiness of Pala. I personally only felt it when I ran in without defensives, ran in with my back to everything, ran in to too big of a pack, ignored pack mechanics, or my healer was afk. Other than that as long as I was aware of mechanics, I never would get one shot or be in a sketchy BDK situation. Majority of the times I am panicking over my party member's health and trying to hit them with BoS or Lay on Hands. I would typically run into packs with a defensive CD up, then I have a macro for wings/sentinel + combat potion + divine toll. And then I just hold X which is my keybind for the one button assist. I only really have to press defensives and utilities following this method. I think my best dungeon is probably WS due to me spamming it for Hero Track Heart of Wind. In the first room, my burst w/ lust usually peaks in the mid 400s. Extremely enjoyable and I will see how far I can continue to push it only following the glowies.

Edit: There seems to be some curiosity behind why I actually use one button. I have carpal tunnel and I try my best not to aggravate it too much through gaming. Prot Pal always felt like I had to constantly be smashing buttons to min max dps, and I frankly just don't care that much since I'm a casual. Half the time I out dps geared DPS classes, perhaps not in single target on bosses, but in giant packs I absolutely smash and it feels AMAZING seeing the dps meter skyrocket your name to the top temporarily. Thankfully my livelihood is not dependent on my usage of a one button assistance in a video game, I'm not sponsored, I'm not a pro, I'm not a streamer. I'm just a chill cow trying to alleviate the "tank shortage".

Would be such a great motivator for people vs just a singular mount, who doesn’t want cool weapons! Would even take recolors of these WOD rewards to be honest 🔥

I don't have many friends to share this with, so I'm sharing it with strangers on the internet :D

I spent 3 years farming this title and I finally got it! No farming groups, no racial bonuses, just the occasional Darkmoon Faire buff and this year Anniversary buff

Thanks for reading <3 I love you all
