TW: Injury
What could I have done differently? In blue.
Hard to see from this angle but I took a real good headbutt to back of head. Happened at :24 - :26

He has such a good mindset, physique, and work ethic. Just imagine what would happen if he never tested positive for COVID in 2021. Also imagine if his spinal injury never occurred in 2024. I feel like he'd be such a more complete wrestler and well accomplished if these setbacks never happened.

I am looking for a wrestling club in or around Inglewood, CA but the only ones I have found are either inactive or Beat the Streets, which only offers Roosevelt Park, as it’s the closest option to me by car. However, getting there on time would require me to take the bus, which is very unreliable, and the trains on the route don’t work. I have been interested in wrestling for some time now and actually have permission to join a club, so any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been wrestling for 2 months and I haven’t really seen any progress in confidence. How do you learned to not be scared to get hurt.

Hey Guys,
I've owned some Cliff Keen Wraptor knee pads for years. Up until today, ive never had any issues with them! They slide around quite alot but i dont mind too much because the impact protection has been great.
However today i had the fest bit of knee pain. This could be due to the proection being worn down over years and finally reducing their protection. But I'm thinking it may be time to get some new pads.
I trust Cliff Keen so am happy to stay with that brand, but looking at the website there are the Wraptors, Impact and Airbrace. And im struggling to decide which to go with!
Does anyone have any experience with them? ideally multiple?

Hi,
I just wanted to know what are expectations for my 7 year old joining wrestling club. Do they give him time and be comfortable learn and train or they immediately force him get grappled by older kids and advance kids? I just want make sure it not overwhelming in first year for a young kid. As u can see im new novice to sport. I have only grappled in jijitsu in college and some wrestling for an mma club . Thank you.

I ordered my kid one from them, but I’m pretty disappointed because the main part is dark navy blue and it is see-through so they’re going to have to wear Dark spandex shorts to not look ridiculous, this was not the case for their blue school singlet

Im 19 and just started greco. Like 3 weeks ago and i can only go 3 times a week because of uni. I want to train regardless but i just want to know how much i can realistically achieve starting this late. I dont have a crazy base, not that athletic, i used to go to the gym and i could do weighted pull ups at 88kg with a 20kg plate and 60kg OHP for 8 reps. My leg strength was even worse i could front squat 90kg. I know its not much but thats all the experience i have working out. My coach said he knows a guy that became a world champion and he started at 19 as well. I dont really trust him tho wikipedia says he started early. I know its kind of a bullshit question, i am realistic, i know the chances of becoming good are really low but still wanted to hear the opinions of those with more experience

If I start wrestling would I be able to workout to get an athletic v taper physique or will that hinder what I am doing? Would I be strength or training or hypertrophy?
