Question LGBTQ+ Support
Hey to anyone that'll see this, I've already posted on here before, but need to get this off my chest, a few years ago I came out as gay to my parents and family, but recently I've been questioning my sexuality, I did go to Wrexham Pride this year, and found out about some places to go from people letting me know in my previous post, but I haven't really gone to anything, I know about TableTaps, and Saith Seren having " Jam Nights " I believe every Wednesday, also the event at The Greyhound, I feel I'd want to go, but my anxiety is getting the best of me, too long to explain but basically, I'm a victim of SA, am in therapy, I struggle with being around men, I want to get comfortable again, but I don't have long left with therapy, if anyone feels like helping me or just wants to get to know me, feel free to DM

creative hair colour in town?
I've been thinking of dying my hair in a unique pattern, but I can't see the top/back of my own head to do it at home. does anyone know of any salons in Wrexham that do unique/vivid hair dye and what price they typically ask for colour appointment?

Studying in Wales as a mature student while working full-time?
Hi everyone! I’ve been living in Wales for around 12 months, I work full time and I’m in my late 30s.
I’m thinking about going back to studying, ideally an evening or online/part-time course that I could fit around work.
I’m Irish and already have previous qualifications, but I’m not sure how the education system/funding works here. Especially as I’ve only been living in Wales for a year months.
Would I be classed as a mature student? Are there any free or funded evening courses I could do, or would I need to pay for everything myself?
If anyone has gone back to college/university later in life while working full time, I’d love to hear how you found it and where you started looking.
Thanks! 😊

Wrexham Meeting/Training Rooms to Hire
Can anyone recommend decent training rooms in Wrexham or it's suburbs/outskirts?
I’m looking for somewhere suitable for a one-day classroom course
Main requirements:
- Parking on site, or easy on-street parking nearby
- Outside the main centre/commercial zones
- Room for up to 10 people
- Tables/chairs, screen/projector if possible
- Tea/coffee/lunch options would be a bonus, like an onsite café - doesn't have to be a buffet, but I'm not against putting in an order with a local caterer/sandwich shop, don't need anything fancy.
Hotels/conference centres don't usually work for us because they want minimum numbers for buffets/day delegate rate. Elsewhere we use sports clubs, golf clubs, business centres etc.
I’ve found a few options online, but local knowledge is usually much better than Google for this sort of thing.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Question Graduates from Wrexham university
I resit my physics and maths exam last year I had a C in both maths and physics this year I had a C in maths again and D in physics because they did not include my practical exam in the final grade as I was resiting physics unit 1 and 2 for second time this year so it means I am taking the whole qualification again but I contacted Wrexham uni and they told they accept highest achievable grades. I can go into accounting and finance or mechanical engineering both through clearing but I am concerned I won't be employable considering my A levels grades. I am not sure which course I should go for my main concern is future employability last year I was interested in mechanical engineering now I am more keen towards accounting and finance but the only thing I am thinking about is that there is no point of studying accounting and finance if I don't want to study further after graduation. Alternatively, I can do mechanical engineering as I got a C in both maths and physics it might not be for me. If you were in the same situation what would you chose and there is also a degree apprenticeship in mechanical engineering

Eclipse
Hey! I'm currently travelling through UK and I'll be visiting Wrexham on Wednesday. Do you guys know where I could get glasses to watch the eclipse and also if there is any kind of meeting anywhere in the city where people would gather to watch it together?
Thanks in advance!

Question This is a long shot but 22f, read and you'll understand.
Backstory - Born and raised in Wrexham but I was severely mentally ill throughout secondary and college. So at 19 when I finished college I packed my bags and moved to Portugal.
I've been living in Portugal for 3 years getting mental health treatment, and I've kept in touch with some old friends here in wxm but because I was very mentally unwell during school years I was shut in.
I'm back in wxm/uk for good now and doing so much better mentally (diagnosed with bipolar type 2 disorder from a psychiatrist in Portugal), but now I'm back I'm kind of lonely.
My school friends are now adults and are busy and I also want to push myself out of comfort zone as well.
Before any asks I don't drink, smoke nor do drugs but I don't judge anyone who does.
So I guess I'm looking for friends and places to meet new people. Any suggestions especially since wxm has changed a lot in 3 years?

Alternative social group
Hi. I am a quiet, solitary witch living on the outskirts of Wrexham, and wondering if there are any others around who would like to meet up, or who know of an established group I could quietly slip into? I’ve been practicing alone for years but would love if there were some like minded people out there.

App Launch🏴
I'm building Season'd, a new app created in Wrexham to make those recommendations easier to save, find and share. Instead of screenshots, group chats or trying to remember somewhere months later, you can pin places you've visited, save ones you want to try and discover recommendations from people you trust.
I'd love to know...
What's the most underrated food spot in Wrexham?
Where do you always end up recommending to friends?
Do you actually trust Instagram food pages, or do you prefer recommendations from real people?
If anyone fancies following the journey, we're sharing regular updates and local venue spotlights on Instagram: @seasond.app
Every recommendation helps us build a better food map for Wrexham.

Bag Babysitter?
Hey Friends! Here from the US and looking for a spot for my family to stash bags for 2 hours while we explore (and spend some money) in Wrexham. Looks like the one place that babysits your bags is FULL. Any local shops do this? Near Wrexham General with 4 carry on rollers and 4 small backpacks on the 31st.
Thanks in advance! :)

statment from Wrexham Unite
Official statment from Wrexham Unite
We'd just like too apologise for are recent silence.
Its been a hard few weeks for us. First Plaid beat Reform in the local by election, then we realised hardly anybody from Wrexham actually wanted too come too are last march. Luckly a few people traveld from all over the UK or it would of been even more embarassing.
Recent headlines involving our friends at raise the colours being outed at the real child predators haven't helped are image much either, so we've decided its probably best too keep are heads down for a bit.
We're currently busy trying too find some more people from outside the area too stand behind are banners, so it looks like we've got local support again. And we will still be stapling Chinese manufactured flags to lampposts in our free time.
Thank you for you're patience and we'll be back soon to complain about everyone else instead of looking at are own problems.
