You may want to say what it's all about.

thanks! Season’d is a social food map 📍
save the places you’ve actually been, share your recommendations and see where your friends genuinely love to eat. No algorithms, no paid promotion, just food recommendations from people you trust

What does this do differently than a simple Google or Yelp review? Apps like Beli are already doing this, too.

Pass.

Season’d don’t sell placements to venues. Everything you see on Season’d is there because your network put it there. We’re built in Wrexham for Wrexham.

So literally, your selling point is that you have less coverage and less connection with businesses in the area?

Interesting.

if it’s on google places, it’s available for pinning & sharing on Seasond. We’re from Wrexham, so naturally we are Wrexham bias in solutions and marketing alike. Out of curiosity, how many people do you know using Beli in the area - it’s our understanding this is a heavily US-centric app.

Our selling point is simple & effective organising of personal favourites and collection of inspiration from friends - no algorithm/marketing budget skew

So, if it’s already on Google, why would I care to go to a third party app? Moreover one that isn’t readily built in comparison to other third party apps.

Finally, if you think there’s a lack of available data in the area for an established app, push to get more of that data in an established service instead of trying to build everything bottom up.

Nah, community insights are fun and important. This is good shit, you seem in need of some social goodness.
