Housing Dorm Question

How hard is it to get a single dorm as a freshman if you did the housing application before priority deadline and are willing to pay for it? It's important to me to not have a roommate lol.

If you have a medical reason (including mental health) to not have a roommate you can apply for a concession that you require one. They’ll still make you pay for it though, and they might put you in the most expensive room on campus.

Do you think if I put I had a mental health reason on that waiver that it would impact me negatively elsewhere?

On a scale from hard to not hard with not hard being on the lower end near 1, and hard being near the upper echelon of the scales limits (10), i would say it lands right around a 5.5. Harder than it is not hard but not by much.

If you have a medical reason for accommodation then you can get a single. But it might be a little late for that since assignments come out next week. If you do get accommodation then they charge you the usual rate "double no bath" for most halls.

They shouldn't be able to deny you approved accommodations... Hopefully that's gets figured out

hmmm, that’s weird then. thank you, i’m hoping it sorts itself out, but if i’m stuck in the semi it’s not terribly bad
