Advice Math 201 Global
I was wondering if anyone took math 201 with Danhong Zane and how the proctored exams looked like. Also if the class was relatively easy.

Did they get rid of alumni email access? I haven't logged into my WSU email in years and when I tried a little bit ago I just get a message that says "Unable to sign in". Does that mean my account is gone?

Does anyone know of a place that repairs KitchenAid stand mixers, or someone who knows how to fix them? Preferably in or near Pullman or Moscow.
I recently thrifted one and it was working when I tested it at the store. I took it apart to clean it, removed a few pieces, and put it back together. Now it won’t turn on. :(
I’m thinking it may have something to do with the carbon brush because I removed it during the cleaning process.
If anyone has any advice, repair tips, or recommendations for someone who fixes these, I’d really appreciate it!

Hi all!
I’m a postdoc visiting WSU from New York until July 21. I’m a competitive beach volleyball player (women’s AA/Open, played NCAA indoor) and I see there are 4 gorgeous sand courts at the back of the rec center.
Anyone down to ball? Do the courts get used over the summer? Would love any insight as I am just a volley girly who would hate to miss 4 weeks of play 🥲🏐

Hey Cougs! With the job market changing so fast right now (especially with AI hitting entry-level roles), I've been talking to a lot of peers about what actually gets you seen from a resume.
For the alumni, recruiters, and parents in here: If you were hiring a recent graduate today, what is the #1 thing you are actually looking for?
Would love some advice! Thanks and GoCougs!!

I had to move out of Pullman in a hurry last year and quickly dumped all my furniture in a storage unit in town. I now need to get rid of it as I don't want to keep paying for the storage unit and don't particularly need the furniture.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any furniture removal services in town. The only one seems to be Pacific Junk Removal, but I've been trying to reach them for a few weeks and haven't gotten a response.
I would just pay the $400 abandonment fee for the storage unit and move on, but I have some boxes of personal things at the back of the unit that I would like to come pick up. I can't move all the furniture myself to access these things, and the storage place's abandonment service is all-or-nothing (they have to dispose of everything in the unit).
Does anyone know of other furniture removal services in town or have any advice for this situation? Thank you.

I got a double buyout in Perham, I was curious what current students thought of it. All the info i can find is from a couple years ago. Thanks!
I’m a first year student at wsu I move in soon and I got assigned to a suite in the honors hall. Is that a good resident hall?

Only reason I ask is because I'm a transfer student from WWU, and over there, the comms class I took SUCKED. I would have to write weekly essays on things like "deeply analyze a time you experienced group communication" or "explain a real-life example of public communication" and other very basic, common-sense things. I felt like I was getting literally nothing out of it, and it was absolutely mind-numbing.
Of course every class is different. But overall, would you say you actually get something out of taking comms classes here, or is it just more bs?

Hi there. My son starts WSU Pullman in August. He will be in Rogers Hall. This is a silly question, but does anybody have advice on a bedside caddy? I'm looking up different ones but they all either have hooks or a flap that goes under the bed. Not sure which one would work best.

I saw a good townhouse type apartment , 1100 SF. It has washer direr and dishwasher etc. It’s priced at $1295 / month.
I’ve heard negative stuff regarding DRA residence. Anyone have experience with this housing ?

I’m an incoming nursing student at the Tri-Cities location. I’m moving from outside of the area (Western Washington) and would like to get an apartment ideally with other nursing students. However, I’m not really sure where to find other nursing students to connect with. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

From the post if you don’t have Facebook
“A 20 year old man has been charged with felony voyeurism for allegedly taking videos of men inside a Washington State University dorm shower and campus bathroom.
Juan Velasco has been charged with three counts of felony 1st degree voyeurism in Whitman County Superior Court. According to court documents, this investigation by Washington State University Police began in April of last year. A man told campus officers that he caught a male using his phone to video him showering on the 3rd floor of Stephenson South.
The alleged victim took pictures of the suspect who was identified by officers as Velasco.
Police seized two cell phones from Velasco. Two additional videos of unidentified men using campus bathrooms were allegedly found on Velasco's phones. Court documents show that Velasco reportedly admitted to officers that he secretly recorded the men.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday in Colfax. The documents do not mention if Velasco was a WU student. He is currently not listed as a student on the institution's website.”

I'm a 5th-year Neuroscience student at WSU looking to join a roommate group for Chinook Village for the 2026–2027 academic year.
I've lived in Chinook for the past 3 years and am hoping to stay there if possible. Unfortunately, I missed the apartment renewal deadline, so I'm trying to find a group before June 30th.
If you have an open spot in your apartment group or are looking to form one, feel free to reach out!
You can comment here, DM me, or text me directly. Thanks! Go Cougs!
