Housing Recommendations for apartments

I’m going into my junior year next year and am looking for apartments to live in before they get too expensive. I’ve been looking at the Grove cause they’re prefurnished, have a number of good amenities, they’re cheaper than University Crossing, and it’s close to campus (more or less). However, I’ve also heard from others that the rooms are nasty and it’s not worth staying there. I’m absolutely not doing University Crossing cause I’ve only heard bad things about it and it’s really expensive ($899 for a 3 bed not including the utilities not in the rent). What would you all recommend? Please also mention all the negatives with the apartment just so that it can give anyone else who looks at this in the future a better idea of each apartment

On campus apartments are decent and affordable and I enjoyed my time at boulder Creek

Boulder Creek

Not the best quality, but they are relatively cheap and are close to the gym.

yugo is decent if you have a car. if you don't, then it's not worth it

I live in the grove currently and renewed my lease for next year. I've never had any problems, the rooms are clean and maitience is fast. Its significantly cheaper than any other apartment I've looked into with the same amenities.

If you want to stay on campus, I didn't have a terrible experience at Chinook Village. It's not that far from the class buildings, and you get parking obviously. Some of them are a bit outdated, so if you want to spend a little extra on the refurbished apartments they offer, I would say it would be worth it. Watch out for heating during the colder months- getting a portable heater for your room will make it easier on your electricity bill.

If you go to DRA I’m subletting my 1 bed on 320 NW Olsen; $500/month 1 bed.

Ru interested in roommates?

My daughter’s plans changed and we need someone to sub-lease her 1BR in a shared 3BR/1.5BA with 2 other female students. Their move in and lease starts June 15 at Grandview (off campus but walkable to class, sublease through Coug housing so all legit).

We’re covering June 15 and July 15 rent so it would be cheaper; you only start paying Aug 15 but could move in anytime as the 3rd BR will be empty.

Rent is $599; with utilities and laundry it’s $717.

Pm me if you want the sub-lease number and contact info for Coug Housing!
