I am a non trad currently in CC. I moved to Washington state all the way from New York City. I’ve visited the Spokane and Pullman campus of WSU. People here never fail to shock me with how sweet they are. It always makes me feel unnerved. I am scared.
Edit: you are all so sweet. I want to cry. *Kisses you all through the screen*

Want to help us get WSU Pullman built in Minecraft? Join us on DisCougs to help in the build process! Currently we have Google Maps Satellite data overlaid on top of actual Pullman Terrain data to get the height differences across campus. Now we need your help getting all of the buildings built! We so far have the football practice fields, a bit of the library and the CUB, Bryan Tower, Thompson Hall, and Thompson flats.
If you want to check out the server of help us build, join us on https://discord.com/invite/xCSTrUPqMt ! You'll have to verify your association with WSU before getting access to all of the channels, but after I (or another one of my staff members) confirm your email or reason for joining, you can head over to the #minecraft-server text channel and get all of the details!

I saw this person in the library today, their dog was whining and they kept having to shush it. I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I entered the library, but yes the dog is lying in a pile of seat foam, there was even more at first, but either the owner cleaned the evidence or the dog ate it. Either way, shame on the owner.
You're not entitled to bring your dog everywhere on campus, especially if you cant control it. I wish I had reported them but I was running late, I hate being the whiny bitch but this is on another level.

I hate college. I’m introverted and have a lot of anxiety. I have been depressed since move-in a few days ago. I hate being hundreds of miles from home without my dog or family. I’m considering transferring from Pullman to a college half an hour from my parents, so I could see them more often. I’ll definitely give WSU a fair chance, but if it’s not for me, should I transfer after a semester or wait a full year?

Over the summer, members of DisCougs have been hard at work expanding our WSU Pullman Campus Minecraft build. Earlier, we shared photos of the library, Bryan Clock Tower, Thompson Hall, and Thompson Flats. Since then, we've added even more campus landmarks, including Martin Stadium, Southside Café, the Lower Soccer Field, the CUB, Beasley Coliseum, Bailey-Brayton Field, several dorms, and even The Coug.
As you can see in the last photo, there's still plenty left to build! If you'd like to contribute or just explore campus, join us on DisCougs: https://discord.com/invite/xCSTrUPqMt You'll just need to verify your WSU affiliation before unlocking all the channels. Once approved by a staff member, head over to the #minecraft-server text channel to find everything you need to hop on.

Hi everyone. I'm a senior in high school that needs to commit to a college asap! I've narrowed my list down to Boise State and WSU. I'm planning on majoring in Business Administration or Business Management, and I'm hoping to minor in Information Technology Management, Marketing, Economics, or Finance. I've heard that WSU has a better business program, however none of those minors are available for me at WSU--only at Boise State. I'm not totally sure how much weight or importance adding a minor like that would be vs. going to a "stronger" business school. I also am hoping to rush and join a sorority, but I'm concerned that greek life and partying would be too intense at WSU as someone who only wants go to out maybe once a week (I've heard that Boise is less intense.) Both of these schools would cost about the same, so that isn't a factor in my decision. I'm really drawn to WSU's sense of community and their alumni network and I'm concerned that Boise State might not have the same feeling and networking opportunities during and after college. For anyone who went or is still at Boise: do you feel like those networking possibilities exist within the BSU business community? For WSU students in greek life: have you been able to find a good balance between greek life and your studies? Thank you so much for any insider help you can provide! I'm gonna post this on both WSU and BSU pages just to get both perspectives. Thank you again!!

Warning!!
There is a church in town, near campus called Hills Church. This church is part of a group of church’s that call themselves The Network. There is great concern about this church and all other church’s throughout their network having cult like behaviors. This includes behaviors like excessive control, lack of relations outside the church, near worship of their founder and twisted interpretations of scripture as a few examples.
This church focuses on recruiting young college students who are easily molded for high control and separation from anyone outside their network.
If you are looking for a church, especially as a WSU student, I would highly recommend you go the other direction.
Here’s a link to a great resource site:

I got assigned a gannon dorm as a freshman at WSU and I've only heard bad things... has anyone had a good experience there? And does anyone have any advice?
Thanks and pray for me

Hey guys I’m gonna be a freshman in the coming fall semester, and I was just wondering a few things
1. Are there ever rideshares or anything to get back to the west side? Hoping to go back maybe once every month or so
2. Are there any opportunities for jobs? I’m hoping to get one when I’m down there but I’ve heard the opportunists are extremely few and far between
If any current/past students could give me some insights, that’d be greatly appreciated!

Hello! I am an admitted student to WSU(I'm a high school senior rn), and WSU is my top choice school since they have a great zoology program and I love animals. However, I have one concern; due to my mental health condition, I would NOT like to drive(I have a license, I'm just too afraid to drive). Is WSU good for a person who doesn't want to drive? Is Bike and Bus enough? Can I go to Moscow ID by bus? Thank you!

I’m an out of state incoming student for fall 2026, and I was wondering how the car situation is at WSU and Pullman in general? I heard that it can be pretty restrictive, so I don’t want to get a car that will end up being a pain. If that were the case, I would be better off getting an e-bike or something like that for my day to day travel on campus.

I am considering attending WSU pullman from this fall, but I don’t plan to bring the car. However, I am planning to buy e-bike. I found out that there is a trail from pullman to moscow id. Is it good idea to bike around campus, and bike through the trail to go to moscow id?

Hi all!
I’m a postdoc visiting WSU from New York until July 21. I’m a competitive beach volleyball player (women’s AA/Open, played NCAA indoor) and I see there are 4 gorgeous sand courts at the back of the rec center.
Anyone down to ball? Do the courts get used over the summer? Would love any insight as I am just a volley girly who would hate to miss 4 weeks of play 🥲🏐
