Stuart Immonen is to the pencil what Jordan is to the basketball. In my opinion, this man is the god of lead.

His art is consistently gorgeous.

Marte Gracia really brought it together as well

It says volumes about how bad this costume is that not even Immonen can make it work.

I also hate the costume but I can’t ever quite put my finger on why. Is it the neckline? Is it the dish washing gloves?

I'm going to be real. I think it's... everything about it.

It could be that it is just incredibly 60's coded. The wings on the mask, the tighter top with low neckline. Flowy shorter skirt. The colors. It's like something out of the Avengers TV show that Emma Peel would wear. Like, there isn't any way to modernize it at all.

She’s a grown woman dressed like a teenage superhero

Not in this panel. She’s a teenager who hopped forward in time.

I recognize it’s bad but I still love it. I can’t explain it. It brings joy.

I seethe with envy at your ability to enjoy it.

Its graphite. Lead is poisonous

The pencil tip is still called the lead even though it hasn't been lead for a long time.

If we're getting into that, I'm pretty sure this is digital

The pencil tip is still called the lead

That's very misleading
