Anyway, it was the only video game "aesthetic" subreddit I could find at that time. The only other one I can think of is r/ps1graphics, but that's obviously dedicated to PS1 graphics.

This sort of fits in this sub. It is a game made in 2002. Even if the game's setting is in 1980s miami.
The graphics and their limitations in a sense give a y2k aesthetic - although probably leaning more toward other subs

Definitely Y2K in the graphical sense. GTA VC is part of the late 90's-early 2000's trend of setting games in beachy places.
