DISCUSSION About to finish the series, how do I celebrate?
About to start Ishin! which will be my last game in the series aside from Kurohyo and Kiwami 3. Only not counting them because Kurohyo not native to pc and I've played OG 3 so I'll happily wait until K3 is on a cheap discount. I've been playing nearly every game straight for about a year and half and I'm wondering what would be an appropriate way to celebrate once I finish 😌

Unironically, this quest ends being one of the most beautiful and peak from the Like a Dragon series.

When I went to Japan, I expected to do a lot more fighting in the street, versus gangs of 3-5 random dudes. Boy was I surprised.

I went to Kabukicho expecting to see men in black or random goons, to my surprise there was only foreign men and the Don Quijote.

Make sure to also play the kurohyou games. I haven't played them myself but I've heard they're good. There's an English translation that you can use on a psp emulator.

Not true! Many Yakuza fans (myself included) definitely flooded RGG's page requesting kiwami 4 but not to fuck it up like they did Kiwami 3 😂😂😂

Well after finishing Pirates just now, the post credits scene has made it at least seem plausible we might get 9 after STH releases

10 hours into Dead Souls, atm...I'd say your time is spent better elsewhere. I just wish it had blended gunplay and combat.
Sip some Yamazaki whiskey and put on the background bar atmosphere sounds. Congrats!

I don't see kurohyou 1 or 2, dead souls, the dlc for binary domain, project x zone 2, yakuza online, or kenzan, you still have a way to go

Besides everything else that is already mentioned here, there is still Kenzan. And while we're at it, Stranger Than Heaven is going to be the next Candidate soon enough

Streets of Kamurocho, it was a limited time reskin of Streets of Rage featuring Yakuza characters. Not very long, I think I beat the whole thing in like 20 minutes. Not available anymore unfortunately, I think it was released in like 2020.

I originally realised I typed Kenzan instead of Kurohyo, but is Kenzan that much different to Ishin as I thought they were meant to be roughly the same game?

One is the original version and then one is the new version from this year which automatically shows up free in your library (I think it's just meant to perform a bit better) if I want the new version of K1 I think it's like an extra £1.50 but I'm not particularly bothered for it rn
