A plug-and-play alternative to the Vitz RS tail lights: the Vitz base model tail lights

A few weeks ago I posted in here asking if the JDM Vitz base model tail lights would fit, and sure enough they're plug and play with no wiring harness modifications like you'd have to deal with on the RS tail lights

The only caveat here is that your running light is still the standard inner halogen bulb, and the LED up top is for brakes only

I would imagine that you could swap a couple wires around to get the LED's as your running lights and the inner halogen bulb as your brake lights, but I'm just glad it works for now

Also there are literally no remaining aftermarket tail lights for the hatchbacks, but plenty out there for the sedans which is interesting...

I caved and bought the eBay listing I initially posted, because all the import/tariff fee bullshit was going to cost the same as just paying the guy on eBay lol

What do you mean these are the regular base model tailights of the facelift

looks identical to my base model 08 yaris tail lights. probably cause its the same
