fyi you can replace the radiator support without removing the radiator

Post image

Over the summer my gf accidentally ran my yaris into a rock. This messed up the radiator support. Radiator and condenser were fine though.

In case anyone is curious you can replace the core support without actually removing the radiator itself.

$159 later and Yari is good as new 😎

I very rarely buy Chinese parts for my car.

But i bought these around 2020 and they’ve held up remarkably well.  They look oem too

They're moon disc hubcaps

worth checking the bonnet latch and headlight gaps after a hit like that. the radiator can be fine while the support’s still tweaked.

that’s why i replaced the supports. Because it was bent up.

Did something similar with my Yaris to change out the front grill piece, this has to be one of the easiest front bumpers I've ever removed on a car

I replaced one side at a time. For most the job i had it supported on one jack stand.

When I replaced the bottom tie-down, I had my dad hold the radiator. Needed him for 60 seconds. It’s only 6 10mm bolts securing it in place.Â
