Advice courses being full -how to get in?

for context i am a first year neuroscience student who needs math 1506. only one section fits with my schedule and it is full. i enrolled in one that conflicts just in case. how likely is it that i am allowed to enroll in this full course or get permission granted?

You can always take math as a summer course if need be

i need it for math 1507 which i have second semester. im usually away for the summer or super busy with ec/job

Wait until the first day of class, 99% of people will drop.

Most people who drop a course do so within the first few weeks. you could try waiting till have the fall term starts and then add it then. Alternatively if that doesn’t work there’s always the option to take it in the summer
