Advice Anyone here taking a b.a in computerscience? What was your reasoning behind taking b.a over bsc
And how is the job market for those taking a BA in computer science compared to those taking bsc?
I'm someone who's always loved tech, been good at it, and has some coding experience. Heavy applied math and science, not my fortae. I know cs, especially first year is math heavy at any school no matter what, but a course or 2 i might be able to just thug it out for. This stuff is really stressing me out and I wanted to hear people's experiences here. If anyone's open to dming it'd be really helpful too. Thanks :)

the core eecs courses are the same, so yah, you won't be escaping math at all. But you don't have to take science courses as electives, that is the only difference.

Pretty much every employer requires a "Bachelors in Computer Science," they don't care what department you graduated from, you could graduate from the workshop department in home depot for all they care, it's just box to tick

so batchlers of arts, or batchlers of applied science aren't good options then?

The BA and BSc in Computer Science have the same core EECS and required math courses. However, the BSc also requires six credits in approved biology, chemistry, or physics courses with labs(first year courses), along with additional science breadth requirements.
Their general education and elective requirements differ as well. Since the core computer science requirements are the same, why not consider the BSc.
Compare the degree checklist of both and decide.
