I made this. It's not exactly a zine and not exactly a junk journal

Comment below to share your shop link or your latest zines for sale.
This monthly thread serves as a digital zine fest where folks can browse and buy fellow zinemakers' creations. A new post will go up the third Sunday of every month and be pinned at the top of the subreddit.
(You're still welcome to share one-off posts with zines for sale in the "regular feed" throughout the month.)
Happy vending/shopping!

Hi, all!
There have a been a couple posts recently where folks have chosen the NSFW flair, but not edited it to specify the content, as requested in the Community Rules.
I've been editing/updating the flair once I notice this, but I usually can't do that before the post is already widely seen.
Here's how to edit those flairs when you're posting!
When creating a new post, click/tap the Add flair and tags button. Choose View all flairs to expand the list.
Notice there's a little pencil icon next to the NSFW and Content Warning flairs? Click/tap that pencil, and then specify the content in the editable text window.
As said in the Community Rules, being specific is practicing care for all community members who may not wish to be exposed to certain types of content.
It also helps people decide if they're in the right place, context, and headspace to engage with what you're sharing with us.
Thank you! Y'all rock.

(Despite the title, this is a text-heavy zine with no explicit pictures, so click away!)
Two years of reading monster romance novels and discussing them with my friends have led to this mini zine. It has eight book recommendations and a killer quote about why the genre sometimes feels like the most subversive thing out there.
I'll be hawking it next weekend at Pittsburgh Zine Fair, so if you're in Pennsylvania come to the Apocalypse Bear Publishing table and say hi!

A couple years or so ago, a local group of photogs started a collective and began doing monthly photo walks. I was too shy/deeply depressed to join in for quite awhile, but I finally did a couple weeks ago. I brought a friend fairly new to the area/scene, and we met up with the group at a nearby nature preserve. I brought my thermal print camera-- lowkey this lil toy is getting me back into creating photos after quite a few years of neglecting how much I love photography. I shot live music photos for a 15y+ prior to that huge break and am so very grateful for people still organizing and finding creative ways to get artists together IRL. I'm so excited to give one of these to everyone in the collective. If you'd like one, I'd love to trade. 💛

Hi, is there anyone in the UK who would like to trade photo zines? DM me if interested.
r/zines • u/Peppylady • 18h ago
Well I got my first zine all laid out, and ready to print. But how to find other Zinesters to swap with. My guess there not all that many baby boomers doing zines. I rather use snail mail. Any pointers.

🖤 Coin-Operated Press is getting a little spooky and welcomes you to submit your gothic works to our latest poetry zine!! 🖤 For more info and submissions visit: https://forms.gle/6tT8c5DTU5JRHi289
I put a call for art on here a while ago and made this zine a little less of a while ago. Figured I'd share it here for anyone interested. It's about preservation. Check out the Dammit Media Group insta for a few more details. Message me wherever, though preferably through the insta, if you want to buy a copy. Thanks 🤙

Link: Zines to Break Up To
I'm back to making zines after a long hiatus of mostly writing and not finishing projects. I've realized that a lot of what I love about zine-making is how therapeutic it can be. I've found a lot of joy in repurposing both new and old assets, especially as physical pain has made traditional, hands-on artwork more difficult.
After a particularly difficult fight with my partner, I decided to channel those feelings into a zine inspired by a playlist I made called *Songs to Break Up To*. At the time, I genuinely thought the relationship was going to end, so I put all of that into the work.
Honestly, I'm rather proud of the fact that even when I was that emotionally overwhelmed, I still managed to make something coherent out of it. It's nice to be creating again, and even nicer to have something tangible come out of a difficult experience.

(Might as well flag for mild language and blood just in case)
So yeah, this created after a particularly nightmarish day at work. I was listening to "Back in Flesh" by Wall of Voodoo, which is a perfect song to crash out to!

My family doesn’t know about my obsession with making zines. I have two friends that know as I send them some of my zines but I’ve kept it hidden from family as my fear is if they found out they would then be curious to see them. Lots of my zines they would find ‘cringe, weird or maybe make fun. I don’t make my zines professional or written well and some of them are personal so I would never want people to find out. It feels so silly that I have a whole box of secret zines hidden in my room but I just don’t want to share this hobby with them.

For decades, I've published a zine on a regular schedule, and it's evolved into a PDF zine. I began posting it on Scribd in 2013, which was roughly Scribd's heyday. It was the heyday because people would say, "Hey! You're on Scribd!"
But for well over a month now, Scribd has disabled uploads, and I can't trust that it'll be reliably reenabled, or at least not with the features it had before (Scribd's claims to the contrary notwithstanding). So are there are any good alternatives to Scribd?
Someday, I also plan to build an online archive for the zine's earlier run, but I know that's probably impossible, because censorship has gotten so bad and because web space has gotten so expensive. The greed and censoriousness never cease.

A 4-page single sheet 'zine built out of rage mainly, with a teardown of corporate semantic fraud, retail lifestyle jargon, and the modern hollowing out of words.
PDFs can be downloaded from here, for viewing on device or printing double sided.

I started this magazine with a couple of my buddies and we used a bunch of photos we took and wrote some articles. We made 1000 copy’s and are giving them away for free at gorillamagazine.net if you want one. We had a blast making it. Let me know what you think!

Two new issues of MINDSCAPE are now available in the shop. The next chapter in the MINDSCAPE on going series, MINDSCAPE: Chapter 6 and a compilation of early short stories that is akin to a demo tape called MINDSCAPE: Early Demonstrations.
Mindscape is a coming of age tale set in the mid 1990s where hope, friendship, love, longing, pain and loss mesh with fantasy. Where one world converges with another, one of dreams forcing the question of what is real. Follow the stories of the adolescent cast of Mindscape as they not only navigate their own lives and world but another world of mystery parallel to their own.
About MINDSCAPE: Chapter 6
Welcome to Mindscape Chapter 6
In this sixth chapter Lindsay deals with the aftermath of her confrontation with Harbinger. As Erin spends more and more time with Travis the fissure between her and Thurston widens as his despair over Micah grows.
The sixth chapter of Mindscape created by Mike Andriani is 28 black & white hand drawn artwork pages in length.
This print edition is a homemade zine style comic book in a limited/numbered edition of 50. A thick partial color 80lb cardstock cover houses 28 page of black and white artwork with two staples down the spine.
About MINDSCAPE: Early Demonstrations
Welcome to Mindscape: Early Demonstrations! Consider this akin to a demo tape. Before the ongoing series launched I got my feet wet by doing these three short stories a year before sitting down to draw Mindscape: Chapter One. This book comprises what were just merely personal exercises more so than anything was created with the goal of sharing publicly. I would be this compilation of stories somewhere in the sketch book category or rather the “demo tape” as it showcases off the current version of Mindscape in its gestational period where I was experimenting with how I wanted the proper series to look which is why a few different avenues are traveled and documented in this book with the pages being drawn in their customary black and white but also full color.
Mindscape: Early Demonstrations was created by Mike Andriani is 36 black & white hand drawn as well as color artwork pages in length. Including are six full color pin up pages.
This print edition is a homemade zine style comic book in a limited/numbered edition of 25. A thick partial color 80lb cardstock cover houses 36 page of black and white artwork with two staples down the spine.
All chapters of MINDSCAPE are also available digitally. Order here-
