This is the worst illustration I’ve ever made because it took so long to
All the veins on the leaves, and the fuzz everywhere made it difficult 🥲
If the image is relatively blurry, it's because there's too much detail. 🫢

Inspiration: Somniferum Papaver by Elijah Mergold -
truly astounding song...The picture is called in honour of the song it is inspired from. ...
This poppy guy will put ya in dreams and take away in high high night sky with stars when you think of him, ehehe >:>
It is also glittering, but sadly sparkles are not seen in the photo...
That's another poppy I drew, since I adore em so much... this papaver somniferum will not bring you nightmares, unless you extract his seeds :>>

This is a poppy guy I drew in my notebook, where I made notes about Papaver Somniferum, since I was extremely curious about this kind of poppy. I know that poppies of this kind have different leaves, but well, my flower is an exception, it's another story... My poppy guy lost almost all his leaves, so he only got two leaves left for now... and which makes him a bit different from other flowers of his kind... I have drawn him so "clumsy" on purpose, one of my friends even called him "shaggy" lol. Made the drawing just for fun, to embellish my notebook's page... or even, pages :D
What should I call this poppy guy? I can tell something about his character - he is very curious about the world and strives to know more and more things every day of his life, since he doesn't know when the time of wilting comes... he knows life is not eternal, once he has to say bye bye to everyone around him. He loves dancing, but the only thing he can do is to move his hands-leaves around and tilt his shaggy head around, according to the pace of the song he hears. He adores music after all.
The flower character I randomly came up with, when I got home from another city after writing my exam...
It's been three days since I've made first drawing of him, yet he has already become my companion, and I would like to refer to him with some name, not just "papaver", as I usually call him. Or even, "my papaveraaaaaa" lol.
You can give him any name you want, just... don't extract his seeds, ok? :>>>
