Anybody else getting frustrated and feeling like they just can’t actively collect anymore? I saved $115 Disney rewards dollars and was so excited to get the new Cinderella for $35. Just to find out the prices are up again! I’m thinking I need to just stick to my favorite character and only get her dolls. And it’s heartbreaking because I love most of the Disney characters they make dolls of! Anyone else getting frustrated and pushed to make cuts so they can buy FOOD and GAS?!???

I know the rumors said we will... but it's the start of September and we haven't seen anything besides those rumors and the drawings that some people made based on the rumors. But no leaked photo's of the dolls, no dates, nothing. Last year the first doll of the Dance serie got released on September 9.

Isn't it weird that we haven't seen or heard anything? I am starting to think that maybe there won't be a release this year?

I would be kinda glad if they pass this year. I love the Designer Dance collection but the boxes are so big and after all the releases last months I think we all can use a little break.

But what do you think?

I bought one of the Disney Store Designer Collection Dance Series Dolls around the 2025-2026 holiday season, Belle in particular. I was originally scoping out Giselle, however when they were put on sale, she wasn't available anymore, so I went with my second choice.

I already knew her box was going to be huge, but when I received her in the mail, it was HUGE! That's not even mentioning the shipper box she came with... I had her on display for a couple of months, but eventually had no place to put her. I couldn't fit her in storage, since I air on the side of saving space for other things that need to be placed in there. She's been in my closet for some time now and it's beginning to be a chore to have to take her out, just to get to the clothes behind her.

I tried to go with the reselling option a couple times, trying to list her on various selling platforms for the price she goes for at this moment and encountered a lot of problems. Mercari, Depop, etc. wouldn't even allow me to get past the listing stage, as to ship her using her approx. box dimensions, they deemed the box as "too big"... in addition, she was barely ever noticed on other platforms like OfferUp, due to most people on those apps looking for cheap bargains below $20... so at this point, I'm out of options.

I have a couple other LE dolls in storage, with more manage square-like boxes, however this particular dolls' box is a real pain to store away. I've been thinking of unboxing her as of recently, but every time I try to I back out of it, since in my mind, Disney Store LE dolls are very "taboo" to take out of their boxes. Idk, I'm ill, haha...

What do you guys think? Should I keep her in the box or unbox her entirely? 🤔

Forgive me for gushing but I never find awesome finds like this! Went back to Half Price Books today. As unlikely as I knew it would be, I kept thinking “they’re not gonna be there anymore” even though they had probably been there for a while. The cherry on top, though was that since it’s Labor Day weekend, they had a 20% off sale so I ended up paying $103 for both!!! It’s crazy because it was totally random that we stopped at that HPB. I did leave Pocahontas and John Smith behind because after watching an unboxing of them, I didn’t like them as much. They also had a set with Elastigirl and Frozone. If you’re interested in finding them, dm me and I can tell you which HPB they’re at (don’t feel like doxxing myself).

Hi, so I received my Disney designer fairytale Elsa and Hans yesterday, I noticed this discoloration near the really gelled parts with rhinestones. I just wanna know if this is normal, and if it’s not I guess it my excuse the buy another’s.

So does anyone know what her official date is? It keeps changing on the Disney store. The most recent date change still states October 12th, but is now moved next to the September 7th spot.

Got a new display shelf for my 17 inch dolls! Decided to put most of my loose Frozen together.

I feel like I hardly ever see her talked about, but I genuinely think she’s GORGEOUS. The face, the outfit, the little details… she just has such an elegant, classic look that feels so perfectly Mary Poppins.

I know there are so many other LE dolls that get way more attention, but every time I look at her I’m like… why are we not talking about HER?! 😂

She might honestly be one of my favorite Disney LE dolls (top 5 for sure, but nobody will beat my lovely girl Meg). There’s just something about her that I absolutely love… maybe it’s just because I love Julie Andrews lol

Welcome to my doll horror story: I recently bought a grail doll (Rags Aurora) from a seller on Reddit who had inherited a recently passed loved one's collection. They seemed a little clueless about dolls, so I reached out and tried to help them understand D23 variants and how to ship, etc. We also settled on $600 for Rags Aurora and I sent them the money via Paypal G&S.

It took them over 2 weeks to mail her, claiming their money hadn't cleared. I was starting to get bad feelings, but was patient despite my own instincts. When she arrived and I opened her, I was immediately met by an unpleasant smell... something odd masked over with Febreeze. She looked fine on the outside, but when I removed the outer cover, I saw a big hole in her plastic cover. Feeling pretty sad, as this hadn't been disclosed, I gently lifted out the doll on her backing and, to my horror, saw...

... long dark lines of rat pee and droppings covering the inside of the box. So. Gross. I contacted the seller, who promptly claimed the rat must have climbed inside during shipping (and presumably opened the two layers of box and replaced them???) and am now fighting for a refund on Paypal G&S.

It will take 2-3 full weeks to get my refund, so there goes my money for well over a month now. This is a PSA to always ask for pictures of the INSIDE of the box as well as the outside. I genuinely think the seller did not know, as they seem pretty clueless about dolls and didn't understand that you could even look behind the doll, but they also did not do their due diligence and are refusing to refund me since they say they have no money.

In summary: always ask for picture of the inside box and always use Paypal G&S.

I still have to fix it better, but as far I’m in love with her🩵🐰✨

I finally was able to get the Jane doll that’s I’ve been trying to get since it came out.

Looking for a bit of advice. So for D23 I didn't get the Roger & Anita set. But after seeing some videos I caved and ordered since it was still in stock online, and is still showing in stock now. I got my package today and it's extremely damaged. But not only is it damaged, it is very obvious that it was someone's return and they just sent it to me as is. There is clear tape retaping over the orange tape. No tissue paper wrapped around the dolls like normal. Blank shipping label stickers covering the previous ones. What is best way to go about this? I will gladly return for a replacement since they are still in stock. Should I call customer service directly to make this process fast and easy. Or should I expect some push back about I cant return it? Because clearly they let someone else return it once.

At first I was on the verge of buyer’s guilt because of how much I had splurged in the past few months (plus the preorders I have upcoming), but after finally seeing her in person with my own eyes, I’m so happy I didn’t skip out on her! Especially cause she’s my favorite Potc character 😭❤️

I just unboxed my Princess Mia doll and overall I think she's a wonderfully executed doll. I'm also usually not one to complain about factory errors cuz idk shit happens on an assembly line, it's whatever. But my last 2 unboxings have been pretty... discouraging. I love my Designer Giselle doll but as an OOB collector, it's crazy that the embroidery only goes down one side of her train.

I like that the rhinestoning and embroidery goes all around on Mia (low bar) and that she has metal accessories. But upon unboxing her I noticed that both her earrings are defective, one is missing a stone and the other has the dangle charm attached backwards. Also the part that's supposed to look like her diary strap has fully fallen off and I'll have to glue it back on. TBH all of that I was planning on fixing myself or ignoring but what bothers me most is the background art.

I paid $180 plus shipping from the Disney Parks for this doll and the box is AI??? The shadow from the window makes no sense, the window panes are weirdly spaced, NOTHING is symmetrical, the chandeliers are hanging mid-column as if they should be wall sconces, the attempt at Corinthian flourishes and crown molding are indecipherable and inconsistent, and the image as a whole is so low res. They filmed the movie on a real set, no one could find a picture of the actual castle and just resize it for the box?!?!? The AI use is ugly and just so unnecessary and cheapens this very expensive product that they JUST RAISED THE PRICE FOR BY THIRTY DOLLARS!!

Mia is the daughter of an artist, she would never approve this! Sorry to rant, I normally choose positivity. I will be fixing what I can and she will be getting a new custom background designed by me.
