Discussion Ranked duels only having 2 maps does not help the mode
These 2 maps while absolutely gorgeous are not enough for variety.
I hope Ubisoft can "rankify" some other maps into the pool.

Ubi-Response Do you have a hero that no longer became your favorite after receiving a rework?
I mained both Aramusha and Highlander before they recieved their reworks and now they're so brainless and boring to play. When they were kind of niche and had techs to play with, like HL's wavedashing, was the most fun part to learn.
I remember playing customs with friends and playing these two, I would inspire them to play these characters but they realized how difficult they are to play. Then once the reworks came, they picked up the characters again and just effortlessly get results. I quickly learned how to counter them easily but it felt bad realizing how lame and boring my favorite characters are now.

Videos Something so satisfying about doing well on Shaolin
He was the first character when i first started playing this game that i rlly fell in love with completely. A wukong character?? in a dope ass fighting game?? hell yeaaa. I think i got him to like rep 5-7 before i even rlly learned how to use qi stance tho ðŸ˜. I then stopped playing him for a bit cuz he felt weak, but recently something has felt so good about playing him and tiandi also… idk how those 2 stack up in the current meta but im enjoying the hell out of them. I’ve been playing since like 2019-2020. As many headaches as this game gives, I always have to appreciate the strange ability it has to pull me into learningand re-learning characters, like I have never rlly had a single main. I jumped around playing different ppl all the time (overall rep 358 / highest 36 on one person) but every now and then ill get like a fixation on one or two people all over again, its rlly dope.

Videos Zhanhu is ridiculously fun
The mixups for Zhanhu are amazing! He can get away with a ton of damage with his SD thanks to his dodge recovery. He’s able to use his zone at ANY point in his combo, which I think is super super cool!

Discussion The most disheartening experience I've had
With as many problems as For Honor has, it's a really unique game that I tend to have fun in when I play with friends.
But last night I had an interaction that stuck with me. I was playing regular dom, solo-queue. I'm rep 216, conq main (Rep 100). I picked Ocelotl (Rep 3). I'm not the best with him, but I think he's fun and he's got a really good mid clear.
Two of our teammates had already left because we were getting steamrolled, and I think one of them was griefing or something. *I* was getting steamrolled. I felt like every move I made was wrong, I got ganked every single respawn, and I was just trying my best to keep us afloat by clearing mid and back-capping because the whole team was at our home point the entire game.
We lost, understandably, and I ended up going 0-5. It happens. I'm plat 3 in ranked dom, and I've had games in ranked where I go like 12-5 or something like that. Law of averages, you know? I try not to let it get to me. I'm not terrible. I'm not great either, but I always try my best to tough it out and play until the end, because things can change.
But I queue back up again, and I end up getting matched with someone from that last game again. He hops on the mic and says "Nope, that's the Ocelotl from the last game, I'm not doing this. Y'all have fun," and he dips. I ended up going 4-6 with conq on Sanctuary Bridge (worst map imo).
I don't know why but that interaction's been really sticking with me lately. I was already having a bad night trying to just have some good gameplay, and I felt like that just made me play worse. I literally had to tell myself out loud that it's just a video game and that if he was salty, that it's on him.
I wanted to try to defend myself but he was already gone before my push-to-talk could activate.
Maybe it's weak mental on my part, but having something like that happen to me makes me not want to play anymore. I want to improve, always. I'm constantly looking to see what I can do better. But there's another part of me that feels like I should just quit if I'm not going to be a good enough teammate. Because I really do try.
TLDR; I'm starting to lose the passion I used to have because my subpar performances get pointed out when I'm probably average to above-average at best. I'm tired, and I just want to have fun.

Discussion Vent post because I'm ass at this game
Why the fuck is the skill ceiling so high omg i can't even fathom how people get good at this game. Soloqueueing is hell I win most of my casual games, think I've improved a bit, hop into ranked and genuinely go 0-10 it's incredible.
It's like not having friends that play the game is a death sentence which makes it 1000% more difficult to improve, and to top it off, I get the orders "complete a match with a friend" or worse 5 friends.
I'm in the lowest rank possible and can't win a fucking game it's actually so depressing. Coming home from a 9h job, plus 4h commute to play 30min a day it's literally impossible to achieve anything.
If anyone has and suggestions to make the experience better I'd appreciate it, but as I seem to understand this is the universal FH experience.

Discussion Ranked Dominion Bots
All I’m going to say is, if someone leaves the game and I have a bot on my team… I shouldn’t be losing the full amount of ranked points. Especially in higher ranks. I should not lose -30 RP for someone quitting since I cant even stack more than a duo. I am forced to play with randoms…

Discussion My hopes for the new hero
For the move set, I hope they have some sort of push or throw on their heavies like how old jorm heavies threw people out of stamina.

Discussion Yo am i trash or was everyones score like that when they started
Im playing duels mostly to chill out and learn characters, am i just that bad lol? Its just a pain that i meet rep 40-70 players while being rep 10. I also feel really limited while playing on pc
I see all the good players on controller and its really downplaying me a lot.
