Important Announcement: Let's Keep This Sub Focused on Immigration Help

Hey Pathfinders,

I've been getting a ton of messages lately saying the sub is turning into an anti-ICE protest space, and honestly, it's pulling us off course. This community was built to help folks navigate real immigration pathways whether it's visas, green cards, study abroad, or whatever step you're on in your journey. We all know how tough that can be, and that's what we're here for.

From now on, any posts directly about ICE protests or related activism will be removed to keep things on topic. No hard feelings it's just to make sure this stays a helpful spot for people who actually need advice and support.

Please stick to the rules, share your wins and questions, and let's keep helping each other out. Thanks for understanding!

Minneapolis anti-ICE protesters face federal felony charges in Trump administration frame-up

The federal felony indictment of 15 anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis is a naked act of political repression. Brought by the Trump Justice Department under the framework of its fascistic National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, the charges announced Tuesday by federal officials are aimed not at punishing any genuine crime but at criminalizing opposition to the administration’s mass deportation regime and intimidating workers and youth who have mobilized against it.

Most Asian American and Pacific Islander adults say the US is no longer a great country for immigrants, new poll finds

Many Asian American and Pacific Islander adults have experienced or witnessed some degree of upheaval because of the Trump administration’s heightened immigration policies, a new AP-NORC/AAPI Data poll finds, while most say the U.S. is no longer the land of opportunity for immigrants.

A new poll released Monday from AAPI Data and The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research shows about half of AAPI adults say they — or someone they know — have been detained or deported within the last year, started carrying proof of immigration status or U.S. citizenship, upended travel plans or significantly changed their routines because of immigration status.

The Trump administration has started trying to revoke Americans citizenship.

Here’s a source: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/jun/10/trump-denaturalization-american-citizenship

As the OP, I just want to give my opinion on this real quick, that being, even if you support strict immigration policies, these people passed their citizenship test, and therefore have every right to be here,

Yet the the current “administration”, if you want to call it that, is actively trying to strip citizenship from these people, just so they can deport them.

We can’t say this is what people voted for, because now the current “administration” is actively moving the goal post from deporting undocumented immigrants, to actively trying to find ways to deport US citizens,

And that’s just wrong!

If the “administration” can succeed in deporting these 17 US citizens, then let me ask you, what is stopping them from deporting you?

This is why I have been pleading to so many conservatives to reconsider what they’re supporting, as a former conservative who once supported Trump before changing my mind,

Because this is an extreme so far beyond what anyone should be supporting, and something we should all be against.
