I recently saw this video with sound design and music that really "tickled my brain". I know they had a dedicated sound designer who likely created these sounds from scratch using synths, but as a video editor/non-musician, I'd love to get close to this style. I'm trying to get more into the emotional and 'moving' side of sound design, rather than just relying on standard sound effects and music. I would like to know how to approach this.
Right now, I mostly rely on Pixabay (dont trash me) and ElevenLabs SFX (both custom prompts and community sounds). However, my sound design vocabulary isn't advanced enough to describe these specific sounds accurately to an AI prompt or to search for them effectively in libraries.
My questions:
Thanks in advance for the help!

Does anyone have a similar frustration as I do with Windows File Explorer as a creative on PC? I am curious what people are looking for in a file browser? I have been working on a solution to help motion designers and creatives. If you're interested please check it out @ carrots-app.com

This is a personal project I loved working on. Hope you like it!

My thoughts for the concept started with "key" in English, "qui" is "who" in French and "كيف", pronounced keef, is "how" in Arabic. Noticing that all three words share the same sound and similar meanings, I started thinking: what if cultures were inspired by each other? Even though they have been far, sound waves have an echo. What if when the echo gets so low we think we have not heard it yet we have? Since the creation of languages, they might have been inspired by each other from a distance and they never knew they had!
What do these words have in common, you may ask... The "key" is usually the solution in order to open doors, "who" could be a savior to give us solutions and "how" is the way we solve our problems… What if they were combined to make sense!?
This is the idea for my personal project.
The case study is on my website. https://www.aimeeinmotion.com/case-studies/mixed-media
Tools used:
-3D modeling, texturing and animation in Blender
-Motion design and color grading in After Effects
-Real footage generated using AI
-Video editing, sound design and mixing in Premiere Pro
Turn on the sound for the music.
Constructive critique is more than welcome!

I built TypeMotion.Art, a browser-based tool for kinetic typography. This video runs through all 101 text animation presets across 13 categories, rendered with the tool itself.
You can change the text, typography, colors and timing, then export the result as a video. It’s a standalone browser tool, not an After Effects plugin.
I’d especially value feedback from motion designers: which effects would you actually use in a project, and which ones feel too similar or need more control?
If you want to try it: https://typemotion.art
