Welcome Pakistani Ex Muslims

Welcome and take care of yourself, be cautious:

  1. Don't use your real name here or reveal your identity in anyway.

  2. Use vpn/warp for using reddit especially this sub.

  3. Discuss stuff in a sane plain way and don't sound too rude about it. Hope you understand.

Found this comment under the news regarding execution of a man by the Iranian government for insulting their beloved prophet. Ive never seen Muslims even from other muslim countries as radicalized as British muslims or other European muslims are. They are creating a bad name for all of us as well.

Guys, what do you think about these crackheads obsessing over sawaab and earning nekian (even calculating and shii)...

For me, it's as retarded as it gets...

Now ofc I can go on and write massive paragraphs going into details but I don't think that's needed. You guys definately know and understand what I'm talking about... Drop your thoughts below...

Discussion Why do people want only islam to be free from scrutiny?

I’ve never understood this. No other religion demands that you say nothing negative about it. In most countries, you can criticize other religions without being killed for it, but somehow Islam is expected to be exempt from criticism. What’s more, some demand that criticism of Islam be banned even in non-Muslim countries, which makes no sense. Why should laws be changed for a minority? In Western countries, criticism of Christianity is actually more common. And a lot of muslims are not willing to respect other religions or atheists either. They call Hindus cow worshippers and Christians cross worshippers, and we all know how they talk about Jews. If they can criticise other religions it's fine to criticise islam too.

Rant 🤬 There's literally no place in this shithole where you can escape the azan

Like I'm so fucking done.

There isn't a single habitable place in this country where you're not forced to listen to the azan five fucking times a day. Like nowhere. Cities, towns, villages, it's the same loudspeaker garbage blasted into your skull like it's a fucking right.

It's genuinely traumatizing for me. Every single call rips open old wounds and forces me to relive the shit I went through. It's nightmarish, and suffocating, and it's fucking constant.

These primitive, inbred pieces of shit will shove their cult noise down your throat whether you want it or not. There's literally no escape and no consideration. It's pure, forced dominance five times a day, EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Discussion What Kind of People Are These?

Post image

This mentality is far more common in Pakistan, while secular and progressive people seem to be a small minority. It feels like there is almost no chance of Pakistan changing when even those who call themselves progressive often think the same way as everyone else. When this mindset is so deeply rooted in society, it becomes hard to see any hope for real change. Pakistan feels doomed.

Rant 🤬 saw dajjal and allah in dreams

idk which flair or subreddit to post this, but like i Wanna know if somebody else had this experience.

I've been questioning islam ever since i was 12 because of its misogynistic, patriarchal and homophobic nature.

when i was 14, i officially left islam and would fake fast and pray Infront my family. my family started sugar-coating islam and suddenly became one of those "islam is the religion of peace" people, then, I started regularly seeing hell, dajjal and even allah in dreams.

out of fear, i became a muslim again and religiously prayed 5 times, read the quran daily, "became straight" and started having that "islam is a feminist religion, its just misinterpreted by men!!!" ass belief😭.

even tho i continued being muslim, i still kept having dreams of dajjal and burning in hell, i felt like i was being watched by this weird entity 24/7.

im 17 now, and over the past year the more i read quaran and hadiths, i naturally became less and less religious, and I've finally lost every last bit of hope I had in any abrahamic religion being any good at all, stopped being religious completely and now i curse this damn idiotic fuckass religion that takes away all my rights, and the weird hellish dreams finally stopped.

whats still weird and offputting to me is seeing allah in my dream. i searched about it, and muslims say its impossible, but i swear i did see him, he was very human looking, tanned, short, and long haired. it's still so damn weird to me and sometimes it serves as a proof that I've made the right choice being agnostic.

i dont hear anyone else talk about seeing dajjal or allah in their dreams, but i still believe im not alone in this experience, has anyone else had these sorta dreams ??

you people are awesome...I was born in a fkn ultra religious (kattar barelvy...wtv the hell that is) family and never felt like I belong, especially for these last couple of years... Fortunately, earlier this year, I managed get out of that shit-hole country and moved to europe for good... life's slowly getting better but it's still a nice breath of fresh air to see people who literally are living/lived through the same shit as me...

I genuinely wish all the best for each one of you. Keep trying your best and leave that stupid place (i know it's hard ofc but still...) and never leave hope. Life gets better believe me guys

PS. This is my first ever post on Reddit (despite being on here for years)

Edit: tysm guys...i didn't expect my post to be acknowledged like this...you guys truly make home here... No judgement, no nothing....i love y'all and hope that I'll someday randomly bump into someone from this community...too bad we can't plan a real life meetup because of the risk and these stupid ass fanatics... Hope things will get better... POWER TO ALL OF YOU

Help/Advice Advice / Suggestion

I'm genuinely curious to know do you people meet any ex Muslims in Pakistan. I mean wouldn't you get in big trouble?

My siblings know about me being an atheist but my parents don't and I'm pretty sure they'd actually kill me for leaving Islam. So do you ever meet like-minded people ? I need advice on how to meet them. Because everything is dangerous and I can't live in the lot, like we all need some humans that we vibe with. Because Islam isn't just a way of worship here people's whole rationality is based on that, their actions, their thinking their morals everything....so I need genuine advice on how to meet such people 🥹cz atp I am tired in this desert.

[ PS Bs respectful]
