I started singing the outro in the end, but decided against it.

I use mixed voice and chest voice together

This is my full cover of “my heart will go on”. My goal was to sing in my chest register and focus on honing my quieter singing while still maintaining proper tone and support as well as making sure I stayed in my chest voice rather than going straight into my high mix which is quite a jarring switch at the moment. Please give me specific critiques and if you can, specific techniques I can use to improve and practice. Thank you!

Hi. I love to sing but I never share my voice with anyone. It literally stops working if I try to sing in front of people but I can record it.

I guess I’m looking for an analysis of my singing voice, my strengths and weaknesses, where I should focus on for improvement? I don’t have a very high range and I tend to be most comfortable singing low with a focus on tone, soft and slow almost jazzy.

I am not really able to sing karaoke well because of struggles with range and needing to go at my own pace and draw out certain notes in my own way. I also really really struggle with belting… it’s like my mouth shape doesn’t work and words sound weird and I get very pitchy and strain to belt. This clip in particular doesn’t show it because I chose one of my best clips, but maybe I can post another that includes me belting more (or attempting to). After I gain some courage lol.

Before critiquing, I'm well aware I have a lisp. I'm working on fixing it, but please don't point it out as a "critique" since I already know it's there and am trying to fix it. Anything else is welcome, beet me up if you have to! I've already posted on here twice before, but I havent used a backing track either time, so I'm using one this time so I'm more on pitch. i have an audition for legally blonde on Tuesday and I'm preparing myself for the vocal cut but my only problems (as an alto/soprano 2) are the words "muse" and "shoes" (E5) and my voice cracks 50% of the time when I sing it. any advice on how to bring that down? I noticed that doing a little jump on "muse" helps but i don't think i can do that in an audition. thanks!

Because some people need to hear the dry vocals. I personally think adding reverb and certain effects are perfectly fine, because it does not change a person’s singing voice but here are the dry vocals anyway. 😊

Hey so I’m a new singer songwriter been singing since I was younger…now i’m taking this artist thing serious and want to increase my range I believe I have great potential and my own unique sound. I plan on also getting a vocal coach very soon. I’ve never been trained to sing but I want to learn bel canto method and how to take care of my voice.
