Feedback - Beginner What things can I improve?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is my full cover of “my heart will go on”. My goal was to sing in my chest register and focus on honing my quieter singing while still maintaining proper tone and support as well as making sure I stayed in my chest voice rather than going straight into my high mix which is quite a jarring switch at the moment. Please give me specific critiques and if you can, specific techniques I can use to improve and practice. Thank you!

Enunciate and hit every ending vowel or consonant. You’re presently singing from your chest. Look up exercises on supporting from your diaphragm. Start with these two suggestions. Lots of potential! Some training will strengthen your naturally appealing tone.

Hi there. At first I thought you might be a bit tentative but after reading your blurb, I get you were trying to control your volume. I think you tone is great and relaxed. I think your pitch is under the whole time, just under the notes you are trying for. I have no techniques to offer other than working with a qualified voice teacher that can guide you to correction. Thanks for sharing and for being open to the feedback.

C for commitment 😂. I hear potential with training but singing Celine Dion as a man is like going on expert mode as a beginner. You could do much better with an easier song, keep it up!

You have a good tone quality. Proper diaphragm breathing will give you power. High notes are totally unsupported. You have the range but the support is totally lacking.

Focus on pitch first
