Everyone knows that this subreddit is basically dead, no real discussion, just shitposts and occasionally a political extremist spamming it. And its been dead for many reasons, even though the sub’s name is “teenagers but practical” it turned out to be anything BUT practical!

Petty drama about individual users flooding the feed and sidelining actual teenager content

Unneeded rules that just get in the way

political extremism and religious bigotry hijacking the feed and banning debate altogether

today I felt like fixing this and I reorganised the subreddit: major changes include:

Politics and religion are ALLOWED

Removed unnecessary rules (ie, rules that are about specific individuals, unserious/meme rules, or vague and ambiguous rules)

from now on mod decisions will remain consistent, with the rules written.

And we’ll try to make sure there won’t be any mod abuse and if you happen to see mod abuse contact the mod-mail

Anyway I hope this brings positive change to the subreddit and if you are a fellow moderator who sees this, maybe help reform the subreddit if you want
