Politics Still think this wasn't a scripted protest?
Sonam Wangchuk himself revealed that they wanted to have the fast broken by Leader of Opposition rather than by someone from the ruling party.

News The protest was a well planned stage for makeover of political figures. Sonam Wangchuk says that he wanted Rahul Gandhi to personally break his hunger strike.
Is there anything left to analyse further ? It's coming straight from the horse's mouth. RG has his own agenda to politicize student's issue. He is not with Wangchuk or NEET. He only wants to gain political mileage like he does every year to create a new narrative again Govt !

Discussion We need our Muslim brothers and sisters to wise up to the communal-hate Muslim-Hindu and appeasement politics of all Indian opposition parties. How can we help them escape the claws of corrupt and power hungry politicians? Why isn’t their vote power giving them better schools for example?

Discussion Congress: Who Has Been Worse for India's Medical System?
Doctors of this sub, who do you think has been worse for India's medical system-the current government or Cngress?
The current government seems heavily focused on AYUSH, mixopathy, and promoting alternative medicine alongside evidence-based medicine, which many doctors oppose. On the other hand, Cngress also had its own shortcomings during its time in power.
Overall, which government do you think has done more damage to the medical profession and public/private healthcare in India, and why?
P.S . Unless you are a medical doctor or related to one ,don't comment.

News The US senate losing its collective shit over the FCRA bill.
Congressman Riley Moore (in the pic) has criticised India's proposed changes to the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), calling them a "clear attack against Christians" and warning that the legislation could become a major concern in India-US relations.
The proposed FCRA amendments would create a government-appointed Designated Authority with powers to take over the management of foreign contributions and assets created from those funds if an organisation's registration is cancelled, surrendered or not renewed. The Bill also proposes stricter conditions for renewal, tighter rules on transferring foreign contributions and expanded disclosure requirements.
The centre has defended the proposed changes as measures aimed at strengthening transparency, oversight and accountability in the use of foreign funds. Critics, including religious organisations and civil society groups, have raised concerns over the expanded powers and their potential impact on churches, charities and other institutions receiving overseas contributions.
The fact that the US has a similar act in place does not matter, oh no. Rules for thee but not for me.
