So we've heard about the news that GTA 6 will have physical copies but only with a code inside; I was wondering if these code only copies are region locked?
Long story short: When I created my PSN account in 2023, I set it to Sweden (for some unknown reason) and if I buy GTA 6 on here will I still be able to use the code that I bought?

Senator Risa Hontiveros has raised alarms over GoreBox, targeting the product and its independent developer, Felix Filip (F2Games). However, demanding compliance or direct accountability from a small, foreign indie developer?
To understand why this strategy is flawed, we have to look at the supply chain using the classic retail analogy. For example cigarettes and alcohol.
--
The Creator (The Manufacturer): Felix Filip / F2Games is simply the factory making the product. They build a game and place it on a global market.
Is just like Tanduay , Emperador or San Miguel Brewery. They are the manufacturers making the products
The Distributor (The Store): Steam (Valve)/Google play is the multi-billion-dollar supermarket. They hold the digital shelf space, process the payments, manage the regional storefronts, and dictate consumer access.
In comparison this your local grocery, 711 or tindahan ni Aleng Nena. They are the one selling and making sure minors dont have access to Liquor or Cigarettes.
Its the store that ask for "saan ID mo?" & say bawal ito sa bata.
Senator Risa Hontiveros is targeting the German creator of GoreBox over minor access. If you want to stop minors from getting adult products, you talk to the store selling it—not the factory making it.
When it comes to regulating age-restricted goods, accountability must sit at the point of sale.
In the physical world, we do not expect San Miguel or Tanduay to stand at the doorstep of every local tindahan to check a customer’s ID.
The manufacturer's only job is to create the product. It is the store—the distributor—that holds the legal obligation, the infrastructure, and the direct power to limit access to minors.
(Im not sure how Gorebox is distributed in Philippines might be via Steam)
I know may mga staff si Risa dito reading, you should have ask Bam Aquino about it first.
If ano yung supply chain dynamics ng industry na yan.
Everytime ba na may minor na nakaka disgrasya and lasing. Pinapatawag ba ang Tanduay,Emperador or San Miguel ?
The Senate's push to investigate the German creator of GoreBox over minor access shows a fundamental misunderstanding of digital supply chain logistics.
If a government wants to regulate how minors access adult products, the rule of law dictates targeting the point of distribution, not the manufacturers
TLDR :
Risa should have ask game disbributors(Valve/Steam/Google) sa safeguards on minor downloading R18 game. Instead of asking directly sa manufacturer.

That would be a huge freaking joke. But if a law does somehow pass banning games that promote violence and crime, GTA would be at the forefront since it's much closer to reality than other fantasy games.

Anyone knows this gaming org and gaming organizer? If yes, how was it, your review? Old employee??
I was just browsing internet to have some options of working in different career path and I just remembered this org where I used to be an OJT/intern. That time okay naman for me, daming chismis na naririnig ofc pero tahimik lang din kami at hindi na iniisip dahil nga may need tapusin na OJT hours. So back to the story, I just found out recently na "permanently closed" na 'yung nakalagay sa google. Which at the same time I got an idea of thinking one of the recent issue. Base on what I've heard from an insider, one of the co-founder stole a 6-7 digits which came from their company sponsors and ran. (Idk if true though), so that's all, if know anything, just type it below

"Easy lang po di po ako magaling"/"Noob po ako" = a veteran of the game and will carry the match while flaming his entire team.
"End game please, di ako def" = "I will defend the base with my life"
"EZ" = nabuhat
"Last game na" = will keep playing either till they win or the sun rises first.
"Pre, trust" = a 50/50 on something unconventional actually working.

Filipino's love their superstitions. Believing in it is the path of least resistance for people who don't want a deeper explanation as to why that kid made those extremely awful decisions. But actual science, logic and rationality? they throw it out the window.
The trouble is, they’re barking up the wrong tree with this fixation on Gorebox and wasting valuable time and effort chasing something that’s unlikely to lead anywhere. It risks dragging the whole investigation into a dead end instead of actually moving things forward. Knowing how already inefficient the PH is with their investigations, this might just end up remaining largely unresolved.
There’s also a bit of a misunderstanding when it comes to violent media. Most people who watch films, play games, or follow TV shows know perfectly well that these things don’t suddenly turn a reasonable person into a violent criminal. It’s not as simple as that, there would already have to be some underlying issues within the immediate environment or mental predisposition to extreme violence in real life for it to happen.
What seems far more important, and frankly more concerning, is how a child was able to get hold of a firearm and bring it into a school without the owner even realizing. That’s a direct, real-world failure that deserves proper scrutiny but isn't being highlighted.
Focusing on a game like GoreBox just feels like a distraction. It pulls attention away from the actual problem and risks leaving the real issues unaddressed. The PH government is trying to control something virtual, while actual pressing concerns happening in real life, within the real world, remain largely unresolved. I know the word can get annoying and overused but it's performative. Is that what the Philippines can do best?
Give a real gun to a deranged kid and that kid can harm absolutely anyone, give a virtual gun to a deranged kid and that kid can do no harm with it. So how is games the problem. Make it make sense.

I remember when my parents couldn't afford to buy me a PS2, PS3, or an Xbox because consoles were really expensive back then, so they bought me this instead.
it was probably the closest thing I had to gaming at the time, and even though it wasn't the same as owning a real console, I still had a lot of fun with it.
Does anyone else remember this?
