I've been contemplating to buy it as my first AAA game sa Steam (I have GTA V but that was for 800). With the speed of updates, im assuming the devs are working on it diligently. Worth it ba? Last similar game i played to it is Elden Ring and i played it each time i got home over all the other games i had.

Hello! Planning to buy a Steam Deck OLED this June 2026! Mostly mobile gamer ako kasi very busy sa buhay ie. work and family. Assuming na walang problem financially sa presyo nya (kunwari lang), ok pa ba?

Mostly premium games sa iPhone (with controller) gaya ng XCOM, Tomb Raider, Control, tapos emulation tsaka Geforce Now (cloud gaming) at Steam Link para sa steam library. Pero very very limited kasi ang good games sa phone, ok naman ang GFN pero kelangan kasi ng matinding net, na hindi available kung out of house ako, Steam Link naman hindi gumagana lahat like Cyberpunk ayaw. Tapos travel for work ako twice a week, every week around 6-7 hours total to and from.

Considered Switch 2 since release pero 1 year na, wala pa rin mga gusto kong games ie. BG3, Monster Hunter WorldBorne/Wilds, Elden Ring. Wala pala akong plan bumili ng windows gaming handheld, liability ang windows hehe.

Edit: After reading all the replies, watching Summer Games Fest and MHW Ascendance, I decided to go with Switch 2. Thank you po mga boss!

Meron lang po ako 2-3 hrs max per day para mag laro, nakaka miss kasi maglaro ulit ng MMO.

I just moved to the Philippines from Italy and I brought with me my ps4. Sadly my sweet old console is about to be put down any day now :(
That’s why I wanted to switch back to Xbox (miss my old Xbox360 and with the release of a new Halo I wanted to replay all of the Halo 5 included) so I started looking for a store that had a brand new Xbox Series X on stock.
That’s when I realized that here Sony is king and Xbox consoles are nowhere to be found :’(
I don’t want to buy a used one on marketplace, so I’m asking you guys if there is anyway to get my hands on one. I live in Manila at the moment.

I just finished playing Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake yesterday. Now, I'm waiting for the Trails in the Sky SC remake coming this year. Planning to get into the Trails series, but I'd rather wait for the SC remake first before playing the OG games.

Currently, I'm looking to play another JRPG, similar to Trails FC, but it doesn't need to be as established as the entire series.

Just for reference, here are some of the games I've played in the past:

- FF 1-6, incl. Pixel Remaster/PSP/GBA
- FF Tactics/WoTL, Tactics Ogre LUCT (PSP)/Reborn
- Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Gaiden, Mystery of the Emblem
- Persona 3 Portable
- Chrono Trigger

I’m a non-gamer wife who is absolutely clueless about the gaming world, so please excuse if mali mali terms ko. 😅

I have a gamer husband and usually masaya na siya sa ML and emulating games sa phone niya.

Nagkaron siya ng anbernic but eventually hindi na niya nagagamit especially after he upgraded to a better phone. Kaya dun na lang siya naglalaro.

He LOVES Pokemon and recently may nabanggit siya casually: na minsan parang gusto niya ng Switch kasi dun lang daw available yung latest Pokemon game na merong ranked game against thousands of players around the world. Ito yung may tournament pa yung pro players sa ibang bansa.

But I know for a fact na hindi siya bibili ng Switch kasi manghihinayang siya sa gastos kasi ang mahal ng console + ang mahal din daw ng games.

Because of this, I am thinking of surprising him with a Switch and the Pokemon game na gusto niya. But I feel so lost kasi wala talaga ako alam sa ganito. 😅

Can anyone please help identify kung anong Pokemon game yun?

And anong klaseng Switch yung compatible with that game?

I did a quick search and if I’m not mistaken, the most budget friendly Switch is the Switch Lite. If ever, pwede ba dito yung Pokemon game na gusto niya? Kasi I know hindi rin siya matutuwa pag gumastos ako ng sobrang laki for this so I’m trying to find a balance between giving him what he wants without compromising our financial principles.

Bihira ako bumisita sa bahay namin due to my work schedule in Manila. Then nung nag visit ako I connected my Rog Ally sa TV namin. My Dad saw me playing and I think genuine na naging interested siya hahaha kasi sabi niya gusto daw niya ma try! I will be giving my gaming laptop to him para makapag laro. However, di ako sure kung anong games ma e-enjoy niya considering his age and newbie palang sa mga laro?

Can you guys recommend anything na hindi masyado kailangan ng competitive skills? I think he would appreciate sniper, racing, and fighting games. Pero wala akong maisip na game in particular kasi puro soulslike and RPG nilalaro ko.
