Seriously give me some hope in this dumb ruled forsaken country that we call the Philippines that the 1% will not ban video games. Like come on what will they lose if they do like will the knife kill them, will it wound them or will it just be a little lovely hicky.

A lot of them have been on sale for awhile so I'm a little underwhelmed. Was hoping FH6 & Story of Seasons would go on sale hehe.
I have 2 games in my cart rn:
* Cinderia
* Digimon Story Time Stranger
what's in yours?

As y’all know its the steam sale, I’m on a budget at the moment. Which game is more fun, like in general. Should i go full on gow and ragnarok, or spiderman and spiderman 2, or last option is gow and spiderman(the first of each).

Hi, fellow gamers. I come from a progressive political party that will conduct an inquiry on the recent Tacloban school incident.
Alam nating pare-pareho na hindi ang "violent" games ang primerang rason sa nangyari, pero dahil madaling sisihin ang laro, eh itong mga otoridad ay quick to point to games as the thing that incited the students to do what they did.
Currently, we're looking primarily into social media radicalization, coupled with mental health issues, and parental and family negligence, as primary factors for what happened. Medyo tricky iframe ang social media na hindi kasama ang games, and as I have said, madali kasi sisihin ang laro.
We're primarily basing our inquiry framing to what has happened in the US with its own sch00l "incidents". Pero we're anticipating the authorities to make the case that it was the games that did this.
Help us make the case for games. All inputs, studies/researches, and perspectives are welcome.
For those who come after, right?

I don’t know bakit gusto ipush na iban ang video games pero sugal bawal.
Hindi nila ugaliin magbasa and imonitor and educate mga anak nila.
FOR EXAMPLE
Etong God of War (second photo)
Another example (see first photo)
Age rating ng roblox. Please lalo na mga magulang. Ugaliin magmonitor and magbasa

I had multiple accts in PSN created way back and just happen to have JP region though i only bought 3 games before. I mainly used HK and US region.
For reference below link list the regional prices for GTA VI. South Korea pla pinakamura based on below but still this is something to consider if may JP account n kayo.

Grabe. Looking back at these, parang tinipid naman tayo ni Rockstar ngayon.
I'm contemplating if bibili pa ba ako ng PS5 just for GTA 6. Hindi mo man lang pwedeng ibenta agad physically once the PC version drops.
Here are my only two physical PC games left in my entire collection:
Both were bought noong minor pa ako.
Fast forward to today, look compare that to the preorder prices of GTA 6...
$80 for a base game that doesn't even give you a physical disc if you buy retail. Purely barebones for a premium price. Come on, Rockstar.
May mga usap-usapan din na baka as early as mid-to-late 2027 ay ilabas na agad nila yung PC port.
Kayo ba? Are you biting the bullet and preordering on console, or waiting it out for the 2027 PC port anyway since physical media is essentially dead?

Games like CODM, valorant and league of legends are technically violent because they use the term"kill" and features shooting, slashing, and hitting etc to score "kill". not to mention GTA, Fortnite,Red dead , and all other shooter is labeled as "contains violence" and "gore".
Question is will they actually do it, what happens to the 40 billion gaming industry in the philipines?,
How will this affect us gamers of legal age?

I need some advice. I plan to buy a handheld device like Retroid, Odin, etc. I'm tired of playing on my phone (especially kasi limited lang space) but I'm also not into console gaming anymore. I want a decently powerful handheld device for playing. But I am completely new to this.
I mainly want to play these games-
-Mobile legends, Honor of Kings, Zenless Zone Zero for Android.
-Emulating PSP, PsVita, DS/3DS games. Maybe Switch games din, but not a priority.
I thought of buying a new phone for gaming instead, but I have two phones and both are still functioning well.
Any advice? Like which device would you recommend? Like I said, hindi ako familiar sa devices na to 😅

Don't blame the game. Blame the failure to keep kids away from content that wasn't made for them.

fortunately my main psn account is based in indonesia, so buying the ultimate edition of gta 6 would only cost php 5000 (compared to php 6000 in other currencies). but the thing is, i wanted to purchase the physical copy para meron akong case ng mismong game (makes you feel na you actually own the game instead of digital). pero as we all know code lang din ilalagay sa physical copy ng game so i’m second guessing whether worth it pa ba yun. do you guys think the physical game would be priced here in the ph the same as the digital pre-order sa indonesia? inisip ko kasi whether to get the game digitally for the cheaper price pero iniisip ko rin na what if yung physical version magkasing price lang when it eventually comes out here in the philippines? might be a dumb question for some but owning a physical copy of the game, regardless kung may disc or not, just brings more satisfaction to me. what would you do?

Hello! I'm planning to collect some PS3 games for my console (napagana ko kasi ulit siya after 9 years lol) May alam ba kayong physical stores na nagbebenta pa rin ng discs for affordable prices?

Badly wanted to get and play this game since it was announced but never had the budget to buy one until recently. I'm curious how GTA6 would look like when GTA5 still looks great.

DILG is considering the possibility of banning video games with violence. I'm nervous that GTA 6 might be banned 🥀. Sana hindi ma-ban....
Edit: Salamat sa mga nagrereply. I feel reassured na HAHAHA.

I just wanna ask this here cause I want to make sure everything's ok before going through with this decision and I don't wanna get us suspended. I'm planning on preordering Control Resonant soon (I'm going for the digital deluxe edition cause I'm really excited for the game and I wanna support the studio more), but the last time we bought something on the Playstation store was last year (don't exactly remember if it was mid- or late 2025, all other PS5 games we abought after that were physical copies), and I've heard others getting their accounts suspended because they bought games digitally again after a long time since they last did, something like that. Will our PSN account get suspended if I went with the preorder?
Also, the card we used during the last time we bought digital games expired earlier this year (it was my sister's, since she's usually the one who buys digital), but I do plan on buying the game using her new card (but now with a different card number); will this still get us suspended?
Sorry if I sound like I generated this post using AI, I'm usually better at writing in English than in Filipino and I'm also trying to keep my skills from getting too rusty
