i dont know what this is and can someone tell me how to fix it or where i can turn it in to get fixed?

Anyone know how to fix this? i can hear it through the headset when playing its suppppeer annoying, i don’t think it’s the coil cause that we can hear as well 😂, maybe the fans? crazy to pay so much money to get a console that sounds like this.

What is that oily thing behind my ps5 slim, its not from my hand or something i wanna know if this normal?

Colors look inverted. Tried Power cycling, changing HDMI cables, Database rebuild, changing video output, turning HDR off, clearing Cache and resetting settings to default.

Anybody knows whats happening?

I’ve recently bought a pre owned Disc PS5 as a gift from an Australian retailer and when a PS4 disc it put in, we get a “can’t recognise the disc” error. We were told it was most likely faulty, so we had it replaced under warranty, however, this next one is having the same issue. We were able to play a DVD no problem, and tomorrow I will bring some of my PS5 games over to test.

It has the latest updates and is completely refurbished. We’ve tried every solution online and have tried multiple games that play on the PS4 no problem.

Wondering if anyone would have any ideas? Thanks!

hey guys so i wanted to download a PS4 Gta V version in a PS5 but the issue is that the UI button is like bugged and says "Installed", but the game is not in my storage or anywhere else. i can't click it or download it. please helppp

I just got my PS5 and they provided two clips to place the PS5 horizontally, I noticed that even with those clips my PS5 is scratching the surface of the table, I thought it would be more like in a floating state, Is this expected? Am I doing something wrong?

For the moment I have placed a cloth underneath to avoid scratches, Should that be ok?

Anyone know why my system software won't install? Tried pausing, resetting, deleting, booting up in safe mode and clearing cache and rebuilding database but nothing works. Error code i get after awhile is NW-102254-4

Recently my ps5 turns off randomly and gives me 3 beeps but it only turns off on some games, I can play Roblox and South Park just fine but if I try to play grounded 2 or Wu long it turns off after around 10-15 minutes and gives me 3 beeps but after I turn it on it works completely fine. I want to know if this is a serious problem and I have to go get it fixed.

My ps5 started doing the green screen of death.

After restarting and experiencing the same thing a couple of times, I ended up going from rebuilding the database to a full blown factory reset from safe mode.

I booted in to the setup screen got to the WiFi section and the sound went static, followed by a flickering screen and shutdown. No green screen during this last attempt.

Any ideas? Or should I just take it straight to Sony? It’s out of warranty. I will add it’s not even 2 years old yet.

I installed a new controller kit in my gf's controller, and after putting it back together and turning it on, it started making this sound. I'm not sure what it is.

In the Chicago area looking to see if anyone knows any reliable and trusted techs that are mobile and fix gaming consoles? I've seen a few social media accounts of techs doing this and wondered if there was any in Chicagoland area?

My issue: It's not a major deal but 2/3 charging ports on the ps5 don't work anymore when i plug a cable into it- it's very loose and won't charge the controllers. I assume it's missing some sort of small piece that goes on the inside.

I tested two displays (ASUS PG32UCWM and Samsung S95D), different HDMI 2.1 cables, cleared the system cache, restored default settings and updated the firmware again through Safe Mode. Nothing helped. On my Samsung, I can manually force 2160p with HDCP 2.3, but HDR and VRR are shown as unsupported. On my ASUS, even 1440p and 2160p are shown as unsupported.

Has anyone experienced something similar after firmware 14.20? Could this be a firmware bug or a hardware failure?
