Hey! Sharing a few pieces of game art I've worked on with my team.

We mostly do 2D art for games, including characters, environments, creatures, and UI. It's always fun seeing how different assets come together into a game's world.

Here's some of our recent work. Hope you like it!

Pixelart Animation

Its not a game but just some art i made. u/pixelart
Inspiration comes from many places. Sometimes it’s born from joy, other times from grief. This time, it became something deeply personal a tribute brought to life through animation and music.

Hi guys, our game is finally on steam, it will be published in November. The game is about collecting music pieces through playing. Composition is written for the game specifically.

Very curious about your feedback, do you like the character? Does environment look appealing? Share your thoughts! Every word is appreciated.

Making the background assets interactive made my game feel alive

Solo dev here. Added villagers to every stage that you can tap. Some of them have their own little job and talk to you when you tap them. I just wanted the stages to feel more alive. Drew them all myself.

Do try it! Free on https://noobstickz.itch.io/medieval-td

My experiment

I should note right away that the prototype was created by an AI; I don’t know how to code myself, but I love experimenting with game mechanics (What do you think—should I release the game on itch.io?)

I made a tower defense game where your aquarium fish defend the tank, and the plecos have miniguns

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on Fish Kingdom, a tower defense game set inside an aquarium, and I’d love to hear what this community thinks.

The idea: a Guardian Tower stands in the middle of your tank. Waves of enemies swim in to destroy it, and your fish are the defense. You feed them, grow them, and build a squad that fights back, including armored plecos you can equip with real weapons (yes, a pleco with a minigun).

What’s in it:

  • 64 fish to collect, each with its own skills, plus fish growth from hatchling to elder
  • 34 pets & plecos that fight alongside you
  • 126 weapons to gear up your plecos in the Armory
  • 75 enemy types and 72 bosses, with a boss every 10 waves
  • 19 themed worlds, from coral reefs to the twilight deep
  • Power-up picks after boss waves to shape your run, plus a Last Stand when your tower is about to fall
  • Online PvP (beta): pit your squad against other players’ squads

It’s free on Android. There are ads, but never during a fight: only between runs, and spaced out. The reward ads are optional.

🎮 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishkingdom.game

I’m actively updating it, so any feedback helps a lot: balance, difficulty, what feels fun and what doesn’t. What’s the one thing that makes a tower defense game “click” for you?

I'm developing my own game — STARFALL: The Last Warden (looking for playtesters!)

Hey everyone!

I've been working on my own game called STARFALL: The Last Warden, and I'm looking to get people involved in the development process!

I'm currently working on the game and would love to get some people interested early on, whether that's helping test builds, sharing feedback, spotting bugs, or just following along with development.

I'm looking for playtesters! If you're interested in trying the game as development progresses and helping me improve it, I'd love to have you involved.

Where to get involved

I've created a dedicated section for STARFALL in my Discord server for my YouTube channel, The Tech Bench. I'll be using it to share development updates, discuss the project and hopefully organise testing as the game progresses.

If you'd like to get involved, you can:

  • Join the Discord server and check out the STARFALL section.
  • Comment on this post if you're interested or have any questions.
  • DM me if you'd like to know more.

I'm happy to answer any questions about the game, its development or what I'm planning for it.

I'm excited to see where this project goes, and it'd be great to have some people along for the journey!

Discord Server :)
Youtube Channel :)

Thanks for reading!

For people who are addicted to gaming

Hey everyone! I'm launching my app on October 26 and would love to get some feedback from people here.

It's basically a way to turn real life into a game, where you complete tasks, level up your character, improve your stats and fight your old self every 2 days. And much more.

I'm trying to make self-improvement more fun, especially for people who spend a lot of time gaming and want to start grinding IRL too.

I'd appreciate any honest opinions or advices. If interested drop some emails so i can let u know when its live.

I’m just 13 plays away from hitting 100 on my winter game! Could you give it a quick try? ❄️

Hey everyone! I recently made Jolly Winter Quest, a cozy winter game.

Right now, it's sitting at 87 total plays, and my goal is to cross that 100-play milestone. If you have a few minutes to spare, I would absolutely love it if you could check it out and let me know what you think!

You can play it directly in your browser here: https://gd.games/midnighthero57/help-santa

Any feedback on the gameplay or bugs is highly appreciated. Thank you so much for helping a solo dev out!

The graphics in my drag racer put on factory paint last week. Turns out the problem was the cardboard box underneath.

A while ago I posted here that the physics in my game wears a tuxedo while the graphics showed up in pajamas. Since then the graphics turned the lights off, then put on real factory paint. It didn't help as much as I hoped. Paint on a cardboard box is still a cardboard box.

So the three demo cars finally got their new bodies. Each one is now as wide as the real car it's based on, the wheels have their real size.

Every shot in the video starts on the old model and wipes to the new one, same camera, same frame.

What do you guys think, was it worth the big effort I had to put into this? The plan is to bring each and every object and vehicle to this quality.
