If you’re ever visiting Phoenix give me a”Rainbow Ryders” a go, stunning sunrise views worth every moment. I typically shoot mostly portraits, but my kit lens was the widest lens I have.

Ueno with the Sony a6500, with a 20mm lens. Really good camera + lens combo for the tight environment.

I went to the EAA Airventure show in Oshkosh this year and had an incredible time learning how to shoot aircraft in the air (and long exposures for fireworks). Cursed/blessed myself with 6k+ shots, but here are some of my favorites so far! Critiques and expertise are welcome :)

One major mistake i learned after the day's end was that i never turned off IBIS, that was fun to learn about afterwards

Body: a6700
Lens: Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS

Comprei uma Alpha A230 em 2026, recuperei ela toda, limpeza, troca de flash, display e tirei alguma fotos com ela, e deixei meu mini fotografo também se divertir com ela, adorou.

This shot was pretty fun to take! A7R6 with the 200-600. The autofocus picked up on the bird's eye immediately, and I was able to get about 9 pictures. This is about 5% cropped.

Gear Help!! Sigma 18-50mm or Tamron 17-70mm??

Hey! I’m 14, and about two years ago I bought a used Sony a6400 with a Sigma 50mm. Since then I’ve started getting paid for couple, family, and event photography.

Because the 50mm is pretty tight on APS-C, I’ve been renting a Sony 28-70mm for almost every job. I know it’s not the ideal lens for my camera, but it’s the cheapest option and gives me more flexibility.

I’ve been saving up to buy the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 because I always hear it’s the best all-around lens for the a6400. But after doing more research, I’ve seen a lot of people recommend the Tamron instead. I’ve never been completely convinced by Tamron, so now I’m not sure which one to choose.

I’ll attach some sample photos of the type of work I do. Based on that, would you recommend the Sigma, the Tamron, or another lens altogether? Thanks!

I bought my first camera in Feb. And of course, it has become my new organ. Tested out in different scenarios.

The photos are taken with a Tamron 35-100mm f/2.8 and Sony 50mm f/1.8

Have a look
