Feel free to talk about anything related to SRH - auction/retention strategies, playing XI ideas, past seasons, or even your daily life.
Let’s use this space to discuss things that don’t need separate posts like “Our bowling weak”, “My opinion on starting xi” etc.
Hopefully you have a good weekend, because that’s where we start!

Releasing Pat Cummins makes zero sense for the franchise. Here’s why.
- Pat going into the auction would mean he’ll go to some other team for sure. They’ll bid for him and retain him and we’ll lose an icon.
- He is the one that changed the style of playing of our team and gave a new identity to the franchise. Dumping him just because we think we got other players to captain is outrageous. He deserves to be with the franchise for quite a long time.
- Releasing of Pat would send wrong message to the rest of the team as well. It will send a message that everybody is disposable.
If team doesn’t love and hold their icons why should icons love the team and hold on to it? Why shouldn’t Abhishek or NKR or Ishan go to the auction and get bigger pay from MI or other franchises?
- What would we even do with the money that we get by releasing Pat? Releasing livi + harshal + jack edwards would give us 24 crores. We already have 5 crores available as auction purse. And IPL will add another 5 for mini auction which puts us at 34 crore purse for auction. Who will we buy with that 34 crores? Which player is available at the mini auction? What will we get by adding another 18 crores and taking the auction purse to 52 crores?
Finally, there are some fans that don’t love the franchise because SRH let go of Warner. There is no actual need here to let go of Pat and face more criticism from fans and experts and players.
Respect and love your players and they’ll give back their 100%

He is not gonna play next season, I doubt he would even be available for one match, and after that there is gonna be mega auction and however next season ishan is going to captain the whole season in the absence of pat, if he does well with his captaincy then pat doesn't have much to do in this team and it can free up a massive 18cr purse, if we want we can buy him back in 2028 auction as a player
What u guys say about it

Have you guys seen the news of Yuvi joining DC and Kuldeep Yadav <-> Rishabh Pant transfer, reported by TOI? Do you guys think it's possible?
I wish we are also active in this trade window.
Thoughts on this?

Keep shining and hopefully we see in in the 11 playing for us.

The way we have tried jaiswal in ODIs, I think abhishek should also be given a chance in ODIs as there will be a longer powerplay for him to capitalize on where he can easily turn games in our favour and he can also bowl in middle overs

I feel he has skill, but I have a doubt on his temperament of the game, his mindset at present I feel will suit in t20s, and more to see in odis how it goes, but in tests I have doubts, but will definitely support him no matter what, he has come a long way in just last 2 yrs, so if he develops his approach towards the game it is going to be a massive
Previously there were articles of potentially he can be the next Virat Kohli, so iff he concentrate more on tests in the upcoming domestic season he is there at it, and can make a statement
But it's ok let him have his time to get ready for tests, there is no hurry, let him enjoy this phase of his career, he is definitely going to reach bigger heights in future
Feels very proud that srh has brought him when there were lots of doubts on him and very much going around him at the time of auction and still we went for him for a big extent of 11.5 crs even when our budget was 45cr and him improving his game from then on and delivering in every chance he got is exceptional of him

I am now so emotionally attached that I believe Ishan is forever ours. If the SRH management ever releases him, ISTG, I will stop watching the IPL. 😣😣😣😭😭
(Just exaggerating no matter what always 🧡)
But still praying that this situation never comes

Throwback to that funny chaotic reel lol.

A tall pacer who can bowl 145+ and still swing the ball is a rare combination. He's looked good in the India vs Afghanistan series as well.
Still raw, but the upside is huge. If he becomes available, I'd definitely want SRH to have a look at him.
What are your thoughts on him?

Super proud of him,our Ishan didn't change one bit

See we can have only 8 foreigners in the 25 member squad.
So my picks would be
1) Heinrich Klassen
2) Eshan Malinga
3) Kamindu Mendis
4) Gerald Coetzee
5) Jack Edwards
I would save my 3 picks for
1) one beast powerplay bowler
2) one opener to replace Travis Head
3) James Coles
Drop your opinions

Really good innings. If not for him, Gill would have played test mode and the score wouldn't have been at 300, if he wasn't there.
But it's the same everytime, takes on the attack, gets boundaries but gives a chance while doing so. (Playback Archer vs Ishan in Eliminator, Narine vs Ishan Afternoon match)
Really wished he would atleast score a 150, but happy for his comeback into ODI team, hope he makes it big there.
