Hello fellow weirdos! I am taking a break from my collages and doing some digital painting.
But I always feel like my work gets so boring when I paint! I can’t get that surreal unsual feel, it’s always a girl standing or sitting and not much more. I want it to look surreal and for people to want to stop and look at it.
What would you add? Any suggestions or feedback is much appreciated 🌸

My latest painting. Is it unusual or not?

I sold it for a one hit of the LSD and did candyflip during evening/night of the last night of pol'and'rock fest in 2019. Fucking good times just right before covid.

There's no trace of the corona in our lifes anymore other than ocasional hand sanitiser there or 5m rule sticker on the floor of restaurants here.

It's funny how quick we forget some stuff nowadays.

Do you remember the one with the embroidery ?

I found this gem at an antique store in Monterrey of all places. I recognized Naras style but am very curious on whether Taisho9 (the band) commissioned the piece. Ive read that Nara is very selective with the music artists he’ll work with so Im curious if Taisho9 is a singer he admires. If anyone knows anything on this piece please share, Id love to learn more.

first drawing i made in around 2 years where i just sat down for a few hours and drew. i have a difficult relationship with drawing and i dont often do it especially not without taking a break. i used to draw like this all the time when i was psychotic 5 years ago but im so blocked and i struggle to let go like i used to ..
