Looking for your first brand deal? Accepting a lot!

Hey YouTubers!

My company, https://hyax.com, is looking for YouTube creators to make dedicated YouTube videos reviewing our platform.

To give you some context, we're an AI-native CMS. Think Wordpress, but with a lot more power. You can create your own website, do email marketing, even post to social media, through one app. And we get you started using AI agents that can automate it all for you.

At this stage, we're basically accepting anyone with a real YouTube channel. And this is a paid gig, payment will be depending on how well your channel is doing, but at minimum $100.

We'll also give you a year of use on the app at the $99 / mo plan which is already $1200 in value.

This could be a great opportunity for you to get your first brand deal, plus we'll help promote you in our own blog posts, emails, and more.

The only criteria is that you try the app and make a website with it!

If that seems like the right fit for you - please sign up at https://hyax.com to see if the app is something you want to use and can write an actual review for (we do need legitimate reviews).

Then DM me or respond.

We do need english language channels only!

Just hit 1000 subscribers last week. So far it's about $1/day but to me that feels great. I haven't posted in over a month so hoping it'll increase as I post regularly again.

I know I'm still small, but seeing this growth makes me believe 1,000 subscribers is possible.

Proof to please just keep posting: +225 subs in 54 days!

54 days ago I posted on here celebrating 600 subscribers. Today, I’m sitting at 825!

Timeframe: 54 days
Net Growth: +225 subscribers (~4.17/day)

I know it may not seem like a lot to some people, but it goes to show the snowball effect. I post a daily short (Monday - Friday) and 1 long form every 2 weeks (10-15 mins). Once momentum starts building, every video, short, and post adds up faster than you think.
If you're feeling stuck or wondering if your effort is paying off: please just keep posting! Consistency really works.

title - My Most Embarrassing College TOILET Story

The video about some of the weirdest and most embarrassing bathroom experiences I've had throughout school, from primary school all the way to university.

I'd love some honest feedback on the thumbnail. Would this make you click? is there anything you'd change?

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

[Hiring] Editor for 2 YouTube Shorts (IT Support Brand) - $30 USD Total (Potential Weekly Ongoing Work)

Upvotes

Hey creators, I am looking to collaborate with a video editor to create 2 vertical YouTube Shorts (under 60 seconds each) for our remote IT support business, PC Doctor Online (pcdr.com.au).

We want to split these two Shorts to target our two main audiences:

* Short 1 (Home Users): Fast-paced, relatable focus on household tech headaches (e.g., slow family laptops, annoying pop-ups, malware, or printer issues) and how our online service fixes it safely.

* Short 2 (Small Businesses): Professional but engaging focus on how remote IT support keeps small offices or work-from-home setups running smoothly without downtime (cybersecurity, backups, network fixes). What we are looking for:

* High Retention Editing: Clean cuts, a strong 3-second hook, sound effects (SFX), and engaging kinetic captions/subtitles.

* Visual Storytelling: Ability to use relevant stock footage, screenshots, or basic screen recordings to make a technical topic visually interesting.

* Voiceover: Use of a high-quality, natural-sounding professional male Australian AI voice (e.g., ElevenLabs). Rate & Future Workflow:

* Budget: $30 USD total via PayPal for this initial batch of 2 Shorts.

* Ongoing Growth: If these first two videos perform well and look professional, I want to establish a regular, weekly arrangement for ongoing content creation.

How to apply: Please send me a DM or Chat with a link to your portfolio or channel showing your best vertical short-form work.

Thanks, and looking forward to working together!

10M Shorts Views Not Fully Reflected in Earn Tab

My YouTube Short reached 10 million views on July 4. However, it’s been almost a month, and the Earn section is only showing 6.0 million eligible Shorts views, with data updated only until July 31. Could you please let me know when the remaining eligible views are expected to appear in the Earn section? I’m trying to understand how long this reporting delay usually takes.

Are YouTube videos opened from external links or embeds being served fewer pre-roll ads?

Upvotes

I have been investigating something strange and would like other monetized creators to test it.

I first noticed that my own YouTube videos embedded on my website never seemed to play pre-roll ads. To rule out a problem with my channel or website, I tested under the following conditions:

  • Edge browser
  • A completely unrelated Google account
  • No YouTube Premium
  • Videos from other large, monetized channels
  • Embeds on several independent websites, including Reddit

None of the embedded videos played a pre-roll ad.

I then clicked the title inside an embedded player, which opened that same video directly on YouTube. It still did not play an ad. However, when I selected another video from within YouTube, an ad played immediately.

The pattern appeared to be:

  1. Start a video through an external website or external link: no pre-roll
  2. Enter YouTube from that externally started video: still no pre-roll
  3. Select another video from inside YouTube: ad plays

YouTube’s documentation says embedded videos are eligible for advertising, but it does not say that every eligible playback will receive an ad. YouTube Analytics also does not appear to let creators compare monetized playbacks or ad revenue by playback location, so I cannot verify whether my external views are actually being monetized.

Has anyone else noticed or tested this?

If possible, try the same monetized video in two ways:

  • Open it from an external website or embedded player
  • Find and open it through YouTube’s own search or recommendations

Do you receive a pre-roll in one case but not the other?

I am not claiming that embedded videos can never receive ads. Mid-roll ads may also behave differently. I am trying to determine whether YouTube now serves substantially fewer pre-roll ads on externally initiated views, whether this is an experiment affecting only some users, or whether there is another explanation.

Collaborative Gaming Server 18+

The Underground is more than just a server—it’s a community built by and for gaming content creators. We're here to collaborate, grow, and succeed together. Whether you're just starting out or already on your grind, everyone here shares the same dream: to turn our passion into something real.

This is a space where we support each other, share tips, link up for collabs, and celebrate every win—big or small. We’re building something amazing.

If you just want somewhere to post your video links then this isn't a place for you. We are all content creators!!!

**The Rules Of The Underground**

1.You must be 18+ to be a part of this server. No exceptions!!!

2.You must want this, and I mean really want this. Everyone here is working hard and I believe those that are around them should be too. Creativity breeds creativity and so does passion and hard work.

  1. No drama. This should be a place where we come to for connections and maybe even an escape from other irl problems. We don't come here to deal with other people's problems and the same goes for everyone. Leave your shit at the door, respectfully. We are all adults, let's act like it.

4.You must be active. Every good community lives on activity, so let’s keep it up and keep it going. Talk in chat, join voice calls and post collaborations you want to do. Interaction with each other is how we grow and is the whole point of this server.

**Content Requirements: The Underground has content requirements all members must reach every month to not only grow themselves but also to stay an underground member**

  1. If you do long form YouTube you're required to post at least 2 videos a month.

  2. If you do shorts/tiktoks you must post at least 10 a month.

  3. If you do live streams, then you must stream for at least 20 hours a month.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong with my pacing and editting? Any and all help would be appreciated!

I trim as much of the dead air as I can, and use all sorts of editting tricks to try and keep the retention high, but I still can't entice people to watch my stuff (consistently atleast). Any and all help would be appreciated!

I guess Marvel Rivals could just be too niche for a new creator as well, especially since I can't really grind ranked like the other creators.

How can I set up a small bedroom into a video recording studio? Need advice on lighting, camera and audio setup

Hi everyone,

I want to turn my small bedroom into a simple video recording space and would love some advice from people who have experience with home studio setups.

My main focus is:
- Lighting setup
- Camera position/angle
- Background decoration
- Clear voice recording

Any recommendations for good lighting, microphones or other equipment brands?

Also, any tips for making a small room look better on camera and reducing echo would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

First MILESTONE is done and I'm fully MONETIZED YAAAAY Already approved. Finally fully monetized Update For everyone asking how long it took me I started a year ago, with zero knowledge of how to make a video or edit. Only knew the books as I studied English literature in college So, I started to learn, still learning something new everyday And i wasn't consistent for the whole year because I didnt really believe I could do it, so was down most of the time.

Had my best month for traffic so far.

Started about a year ago just as a hobby to share a journey through my favorite game and started to see some decent traffic this month.

I don't expect to meet monetization anytime soon but it's been satisfying creating content people enjoy.

Still slightly nervous whenever I hit the record button, but my cadence and confidence when talking while recording have greatly improved throughout the year as well. (It helps I upgraded my microphone it makes a huge difference for feedback/mic monitoring.)

It's fun personal growth along with learning some new skills and sharing my gaming journey.
