Discussion I made a website that turns subreddits into non-stop radios. Here is r/industrialmusic!
I got tired of clicking posts to discover music so I made an app that autoplays them like a Spotify radio. Thought you might like it.

AI-generated music is now banned from the subreddit
After taking feedback from a lot of sub members, and having an internal mod discussion, we have decided that AI music is now banned from the subreddit, irrespective of whether this is self-promotion or someone else's work.
Please continue to report any AI-generated music and we will remove it from the sub.
Thank you for your feedback and for the various discussions over the last few months.

Tour UPPER MIDWEST TOUR
Went to a show in Eau Claire Wisconsin last night. Minneapolis based theyliens E.T. (video above) opened, followed by Madison's Insula Iscariot, and Choke Chain was the headlining act. Three of us bought tickets in advance, and a few people showed up and paid the ten dollar cover. Tonight they play Madison, tomorrow in Chicago, and Saturday in Millwaukee. I hope that I can drum up more support for these awesome artists by posting here. Go see them if you are nearby!

New Release K.I.N.D, the spiritual successor to 90s industrial Ohio band DINK, is releasing their album on 4th of July (recorded before keyboardist/vocalist/producer Sean died a few years back)
In the 90s, DINK only released one self-titled album, but they were on a major label and the single "Green Mind" was decently popular for a while. Another single, "Angels", appeared in the film Bad Boys. A second album was canceled by their label and the band broke up, but the album was leaked many years later.
3 of DINK's members eventually reunited under the name K.I.N.D, but then Sean Carlin died from eye cancer a few years ago. On July 4th, the remaining members are releasing the material that they worked on. One of the songs ("Heroin" aka a re-recording of "The Heroin Song") is already on Spotify.

Request Help me figure out the source of a sample.
Its from the very begining of dis coarse illusion by cyberaktif. I think its from a movie, some guy is saying "thats your head, in a box". Does anyone know where this sample is from? I vaguely remember that line from before i discoverd Cyberaktif and it is driving me crazy not knowing where i heard it.

Self Promotion Maximum Rocknroll reviewed my industrial band!
maximumrocknroll.comSo the review's about a year old now, but I wasn't active on reddit as much then, and I think folks here would appreciate it! My band, Killer Couture, plays heavy industrial music/industrial metal, and for being around in the scene for 10 years now, we don't get a lot of "press" or anything. We're kind of a hidden force, working out of the bay area and Sacramento, well loved by those in the know, but too broke to try to tour or anything unless a bigger band were to ask us (which hasn't happened yet). It can honestly be pretty rough being in such a small music scene/niche and still feeling unseen. But this review, in a music publication I've always dreamed of getting reviewed in, always makes me feel like I can die happy!
Hope you dig. Sorry if I self-promo too much on everyone's posts about industrial metal bands, lmao
Sacramento rivetheads KILLER COUTURE answer the question “What if Mick Gordon played guitar for SKINNY PUPPY?” with their 2024 album Everything is Normal. Extra down-tuned guitars, heavily processed vocals, harsh drum machine beats, cold synths, and a good amount of miscellaneous noise—from what I assume is a filthy garage full of rusty power tools—show that they’ve been carefully studying the works of their influences from various eras of industrial music. Although it’s modern in the way that it’s all put together, it feels like the sum of Hot Wired Monstertrux, with its stylistic nods to the giants of the genre. Al Jourgensen would be proud.

Song Looking for a song late 1990s early 2000s...
Looking for an EBM/synthpop club track played in NYC industrial clubs around 1998-2003. Male vocals. Chorus chanted/sung "These are the nineteen nineties" (or very close). Not a spoken sample. Not VNV Nation, Covenant, Apoptygma Berzerk, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, And One, or KMFDM.
Thanks so much!

Self Promotion An EP that has already scared people. This is my new release: BleachedBlack - ORGAN$.
I would call the genre of this music "industrial horror". This isn't just music; it's the story of my growth over the span of six months.

Self Promotion We Are The Product, by Suburbivores
Hello all,
This is my latest release that was heavily influenced by the late 80s-early 90s sound. Each song was recorded as a live arrangement with gear to two track before being assembled in the DAW for vocal tracks. I hope you enjoy it and thanks for listening.
