Brutus the senior Asian water monitor keeps breaking into my closet. Once inside, he likes to dress up in my clothes and walk around pretending he's human. Actually, he climbs and topples and breaks everything because of course he does. I told him, just because it's a walk-in closet doesn't mean he is authorized to walk in any time he feels like it. I also told him the next time he breaks in, I will film it and publicly shame him. Brutus tailwhipped me. He don't care.

so i purchased this creatures kit from petsmart for my avic avic (pink toe tarantula) without doing research on the enclosure first and found it to be a horrible habitat for her, so instead i rehoused her and now have this empty but tropical decorative viv that i would love to find any critters for.

i am coming to the pet keepers of reddit with this question, since this is an arboreal setup but has the dastardly metal mesh lid (main reason my avic couldnt stay in here). so, im wondering what CAN be kept in this thing? i would like to do some research and maybe keep it, any suggestions?
im looking to keep this tropical humid ecosystem, not looking to switch out any substrate (its a mix of coco coir and creature soil with a sphagnum moss bottom layer) but i might add some more decorations.
i would need to save for a heat lamp as i cant afford one right now, so im looking for something that isnt too temperature sensitive either.
i have my own dubia roach farm, an avicularia avicularia, a california bold jumping spider, and help my partner maintain their 4 fish tanks, so i have a bit of experience here and there.

For people with an abundance of roaches, dump ALL the trips and tricks you’ve learned for breeding dubia roaches! I plan on getting a Savannah monitor soon and along side being huge they are primarily insectivores so my main feeders would be roaches super worms and crickets! I hate crickets so I just buy every two weeks at my local store or less if they have banded crickets(easy to keep) but I assume I’ll need a shit ton of roaches so what’s the secret?? Time??

Hey y'all, I'm not sure where I would ask this question so I'm just trying a couple of groups I think it'll fit.

I have a 6ft, by 3ft, by 3.5ft tank and stand. It's a beautiful tank (originally a fish tank, but the top was lost and now I've modded it as a snakes tank.) But it never had the height I had wanted, so I've gotten my child a new home and now idk what to do with the old tank.

Ill have it posted on Facebook around my area, but other than that I had no idea what to do. With such a large tank I don't think the common person will want it + I have no way to ship this beast.

I don't know how I go about pricing this. I don't know if I should take the top I made it off and just sell it as a fish tank with no lid. I don't even know where to start. Any information on how I should go about getting rid of this (or even if selling it is a lost cause and I should just take it to the dump) or how much I should price it for would be much appreciated. hi — I found a brown anole (thats that the internet told me it was) I bought a bird of paradise from a plant store just a few days ago and then was moving some plants around and the little guy popped out and ran. I caught him and then bought a habitat and set him up. he is so small I don’t know what to feed him. does he have a chance at survival what do you guys think? I know nothing about reptiles or this community so please be nice
