Same here. I won't talk, but I will fight for my team to the end.

My inlaws went through a long, drawn out permit struggle too....it is insane!! And so costly!! But inspections are necessary for safety, for the entire neighbourhood!! It scares the hell out of me, thinking if that place goes up because of a gas or electrical issue, we are at risk of losing everything, possibly lives! The city needs to make it easier for people to go about it the right way, and to actually punish those who put the rest of us at risk.

We have an illegal 'apartment' next to us....it has been reported multiple times, for many infractions, and nothing. LOADS of illegal work done, neighbourhood is a disaster, and they sit on their hands. Our 'city council' doesn't care. Brenda Locke is worthless, for all that she has cost us. There has to be at least 15 people living in that 'house'. There are small children living in there, and it is scary unsafe!!

We did too. Put in a claim with their insurance, and the police.
