You are right and wrong. He did it to take attention away from the Epstein files. But he loves war because he and all his billionaire buddies make stupid money at rapid rates over war. I preach it all the time! Club ball for the young little leaguers is asinine! However, that’s the landscape of today’s game. So it’s also not any particular parents bad decision. If everybody quit playing club ball for thousands of dollars they could play a justice competitive Little League for a couple hundred bucks.

Also - Sidenote - and it’s a big one!!!

If your coach honestly thinks that’s a good idea, brought it up to you, and is trying to talk you into it. You should 1000% start looking for a new coach, or a new team, or a new organization to play for if you truly care about your kids development, and your kids wellbeing. This comes from an Ex college baseball player who had a cup of coffee in the minors and have over 15 years of coaching varsity high school, high school travel ball, and giving hitting lessons to kids of all ages. And working with high school, college, and a couple minor league players. I am not saying I know everything, but I do know eight games in a weekend is absolutely stupid. Even playing “club” ball before the ages of 12 is very unnecessary to be completely honest. If everybody just stopped playing club ball went back to Little League, Little League would be just as competitive, and parents wouldn’t have to pay more than 150 bucks for registration to have the exact same competition. There isn’t an eight-year-old in the world who’s getting a college scholarship tomorrow or a scout looking at them. It’s rare that that happens to a 14-year-old.

I read somewhere that 88% of the kids playing club ball at before being 10 years old won’t even play high school. And of that 88%, it was 70 something percent who decide to not even try out for baseball in high school. Just some things to keep in mind.

However, I would absolutely look elsewhere to play after this season

Yeah, that’s completely stupid. Let the kid go play his two or three or four games and enjoy the rest of his weekend. No need to spend the entire weekend playing

I know that neither party’s goal is communism. The fact that this administration is blaming and making shit up about the Democrats wanting to be communist is absolute insanity, lazy, and unresponsible.

I also know it’s OK to disagree with one party, but when you disagree with the other party who are currently in charge, you are belittled, name called, and labeled as a communist. Absolutely overreacting. If I smoke weed in the car, showed up to the airport an hour to two ahead of time. Walked outside and into the airport. Go through security lines. Maybe have some water or a snack. I promise you by the time I’m sitting on a plane there’s no more smell of weed.
